BillD, when I view the posting the
 
Have tried listing a sale in Good Deals twice, but none ever showed. I read the rules carefully and emailed the moderators, but haven't heard back (did once and was told it would be looked into- about 1.5 weeks ago). Just wondering why a good deal (sale) would not show.

The IMG code is turned off for the regional forums. I don't know if that's an oversight or intentional; DavidB will have to answer that.



In the meantime, though, only the links will show up if you use the IMG tag in those forums.

I haven't even read the thread. I just know that the threads listed on the homepage have got to change. I seriously can't stand not having the entire thread title to read.



Example: How do you I know if I wanna read the thread when on the home page it reads "I have an important question about..."



I liked it sooo much better before the redesign. There was a whole box in the middle of the page that listed the entire thread title, the thread starter, and the last person who posted in the thread.



This seriously gets on my nerves.
 
Is it just me or is there no way to look at posts in the Click and Brag section that are no longer on the first page??

That's been on my nerves for a while too GA. You're not the only one.
 
The chat room is laggy! I don't know if it got upgraded along with the forums, but as of right now it is using about 92,000K of memory on my system. Any fix for this?

Same. It would be awesome to see the entire thread title again.



Oh, and shameless self promotion - are any of the mods going to start the September 2005 xtreme detail contest poll soon? :)
 
Y'all ought to take a look at the new VB version they are running on off topic. :eek:



Post edits stay on the same page, new posts via the quick reply box don't need page reloading, you can access smilies from the quick reply box, mouse over the thread icon and it shows how many posts you have in that thread, etc. Not sure if all that is available on our current VB version or not but it sure is pretty cool stuff.



Must be frustrating though, to get a new version of software set up just right and an upgraded version comes along!
