Dave I did not call you names I just said you are of Liberal persuasion and that is true.

I never did understand why Liberals object to being called Liberal.

I don't mind someone calling me Conservative it is just a difference in fundamental belief.

Bart...this is even better...I'm of the liberal persuasion and this is true....Other than my posting here at DC...you know squat about me...how can you say that?

Ever give thought that maybe I'm just saying this because it gets a rise in you?:gotcha:

We have discussed one subject and you've labeled me...that's just perfect:rofl

I will do better than that I will bet that you voted for Obama. :D

Do you really think I don't know when deadly force is justified.

Your scenario is beyond ridiculous to think I would shoot someone that threw a shoe at me.
That's because every CCW knows that in the shoe situation you draw and shoot the first shoe out of the air and then call pull for the second shoe to be launched. It's part of our training.:D

I still crack myself up.

I knew there was a logical explanation for this:D

I have two handguns currently. One is a Springfield 1911 and the other is a Sig P250. When I am in the house, both guns are loaded. The Sig is in an open drawer in my bedroom nightstand. The 1911 is in a metal case next to the nightstand. When I am sleeping, there is one in the chamber in the Sig. When I am not home, both guns are locked in that case with two padlocks. When I go on long trips, the Sig is ready to go in the glove box. According to Arkansas law, I am able to carry a loaded gun in the car as long as I'm going on a journey(20 miles or more) with a destination other than my primary residence. I will be getting my conceal license in the very near future. When that happens, I will most likely be carrying the Sig. The 1911 is a big and heavy handgun that would be very difficult to try to conceal with the way I dress.

I fully support the right to own some sort of firearm. I also support the people who want to carry them legally. The biggest issue we have, IMO, are the people that choose to ignore the laws set forth. I don't think more stringent policies on carrying need to be put in place. I just think more stringent laws need to be written to more severely punish those who choose to ignore the current firearm laws.

All of you who come up with stories about someone that only had to use it once in so many years probably would have never been told the story in the first place if that person wasn't carrying. I respect anyone's opinion, no matter what I may think about it. I would just ask that you respect mine as well. It shouldn't matter to anyone why I want to carry simply because it is a right given to me by the 2nd Ammendment.

WHAT? That's not the American way. It's not the person's fault! Blame should be placed squarely on the school, their environment, the government or Joe Bob sitting in the third row second seat to the left. How dare you think someone should accept responsibility for their actions and that we should ever judge someone as to a punishment!

I know there is a hidden message here somewhere....I'll read it real slow and get back to you:D

I had a discussion with my brother about firearms the last time I was home. He firmly stated that people don't kill people, guns kill people. I didn't even bother saying anything else past that.

His quote is true...can't argue with the logic...but misguided a bit?..yes!

Yeah, just the other day I saw a gun jump right up off the shelf, load it's own magazine, aim at a customer and pull it's own trigger right there in the store.

Logic like that - that people don't kill people - is a lot of what is wrong with today's society. People were killing each over with clubs and rocks before guns were around, and they'll be killing each other with something else when guns go away.
