Thanks for reaching out and stepping up with this. I have no problems with your forum, it's members and will try to participate more in any way I can. I also encourage you and all the members here to reciprocate by coming back to Autopia. DavidB is no longer in control and from the looks of what the new owners have said, it should/could be a much better place for all to peacefully coexist. Peace. :surrender

I'm glad you said this because I was getting the feeling you had a problem with me and this forum. I'm glad you cleared that up. :cheers:

I'm not one to frequent a bunch of different forums. I only go to another one if someone tells me to check something out on it. I probably should at least lurk so I know what's going on. I still manage to stay pretty well informed though.
 
From what I can tell, the moderators at Autopia must not be able to review everything. The Adam's thread should have been stopped quickly especially since they were a sponsor no less.

What I see on some forums is that there are certain people who do not like a product or brand, they make sure everyone knows at any chance they can.

The Flash, Gordon Flash Gordon, $storedetailer,and cartoysautospa are all the same. Hes still active over at TID. I feel sorry from Angelo. Just thought Id post that but you guys probably already knew that.:cheers:

I remember Poorboy telling me the Clone/Flash was really a good guy, but I guess I just never did understand him.

For instance:

When someone didn't agree with him, his response was very likely to be that he was going to;

a. Play Mike Tyson with the offender. (Was he going to bite an ear off?)

b. Play Muhammad Ali with the person that didn't agree with what he had to say.

c. He was going to loosen up the laces on those gloves and straighten everyone out.

I also remember his reference to being in sweat pants with a boner. (His words, not mine)

Yes, he was a real class act with a lot to add to the forum. :bow
 
We are starting to sound like a bunch of negative guys here. Gordon was definitely a character. He just got too abrasive one too many times and needed to be shown the door.

Let's think of some members who used to be on here we miss, and would like to see back. Maybe share what you liked about them. ( I sound like a marriage counselor)

I, for one, like seeing Mike Phillips back on here and some of our new sponsors posting some again. :bigups

Wow...this turned into quite the conversation fairly quickly. Allow me to add my opinion. I'm not bagging on Autopia but based on my experience, the atmosphere seems fairly unforgiving, especially for noobs, such as myself. It seemed that I could not get anybody to answer my questions or take me seriously.

I left in August of last year and haven't been back since. This place is much better. :dcrules
