This afternoon, on my way back from Snoqualmie Pass/Falls in western WA, this Plymouth Voyager was passing everybody at about 85-90 mph. There and then, I decided to see what my(sister's) Taurus LX would do. I floored it on a slight downgrade going 80(speed limit was 70), and within about 4 seconds it was going 107. Then cop fear took over(only got my license about 3 months ago), and i slowed down. Nice brakes for a car with almost 122,000 miles on it!
I've heard that the 1996 Taurus LX is limited to 112 mph, but i am not sure. Anybody here who can tell me from "live" experience?
