God knows I have laid smoke on I-94 (Edens, Kennedy, and Ryan) as well as I-88, I-290, I-355, I-57, I-80, I-294, IL 394, I-65 in IN, and I-43 in WI.

As for stupid drivers, you need to come down here to AZ and see stupid drivers in action. You will never see Chicago drivers the same way again.
Actually, I know what you are talking about. My parents live in Queen Creek. When driving on the 202, people drive in the carpool lane and left lanes when traffic is going faster in the right lanes! But the 202 sucks now with the speed cameras...I try not to over do it unless I'm riding along with traffic.

...But the asshats that drive below the speed limit in the left lane are the reasons Chicago (and Wisconsin in general) traffic sucks so bad. I've never seen so many stupid drivers. "Oh someone hit the brakes a mile ahead of me, I better hit mine too!":rolleyes: I guess that's the Michigan driver in me!

Ain't that the truth!! I'm a Michigan driver born in Wisconsin. I get along much better here! :D

202 or is it the 101? I have not seen any cameras on either part of the 202.

Maybe it is the 101 on the way to the 202? It all looks the same:D But I thought by Gilbert/Chandler on the 202 there were some? At least my parents think there are...

Nope. There are no cameras on the San Tan (202) or Red Mountain (202). The only cameras are on the 101 (for now).

Lets keep it this way. Personally I think its stupid to have them on the 101...the 101 is usually packed (well except late night or early day).

The 101 is actually one of our less packed freeways. They did some surveys before they installed the cameras and I think the average speed was in excess of 80 mph when the posted speed limit is 65 mph. The 202 is even more insane. The limit on that is 55 mph, but you are still getting road-raged at 65 mph. Personally, I think they either need to up the speed limits or find a way to install digital speed limts signs that they can control depending on traffic flow and time of day.

In somebody else's car, 180 in a 45 zone. 2007 BMW M5 with Kreisig Exhaust and chip to remove governor. In one of my cars, 125 in a 2003 Honda Odyssey...o yea.

Ryan

115 in my 93 honda accord station wagon

165 in my 87 300zx

I'll never go that fast in the Z again. The suspension setup is far too old and by the time I got up past 140 it was down right scary.

Just pulled off 85 in a Ford E-450 box truck (similar to ryder trucks). Computer shut it off. Straight road, no wind felt fine.

I've never been faster than 90MPH. I love life, my family, driving privileges, and low insurance premiums too much to compromise them due to a "harmless" pursuit of a speed thrill.

I had my Maxima more than a month before I even went 100 in it-but it was still pulling at 110 when I let off.

Mine did the same thing at 135. She felt like she had more to go but something (My guess, tranny) was holding it back.

Maybe you have a nice soft limiter  I bet the Edge has one too, sometimes such things are set lower than you'd expect.

In my weekend car, never more than a quick blast under 100 mph, I'm not trying to prove anything to anyone, just out for a nice cruze with the top down. Drag strips are for speed, or the autobahn, not our hiways. Too many things to go wrong that are out of my control.
