just recieved my black wow and the name says it all.this is by far the best stuff for your trim i have found.called **** and talked to him and very friendly.not like alot of suppliers and blow you off.i would recomend this to everyone,no matter you have a shop or just for your own satisfaction.
 
I agree, this is the best product for black plastic-used it on a hammered Saab and a BMW where in both cases there must have never been any protection put on the plastic and it made it look far better then any product I have ever tried.
 
I too bought this recently for my 07 glassback mustang. The glassback mod adds a lot more black trim and this stuff really makes it looks nice! Water beads off of it nicely. I only found two problems: 1) The grille of my stang is a b**ch to do with black wow, until I got a 1" foam brush from my neighborhood hardware store 2) it may be bad if you leave it around kids that like watermelon candies (it smells like a jolly rancher).
 
a couple of questions as black wow seems very interesting:

does it feel greasy after applied and dried?

does it run in the rain?

how long does it last- on avg?

does it keep a nice consistent finish (not blotchy)?

can it be topped with something - like Zaino Clear Seal or Optimum OptiSeal (anyone tried to top it)?

I really need to get myself some of this. All the reviews so far have been great! To the poster above, I think the product is too new for any real world durability testing.
 
After suggestions on this forum I ordered one bottle for my Rav4's cladding and bumpers.



At first, it indeed gave an incredible look. During summer time, I only see this vehicle on weekends. It stays outside, uncovered.



Perhaps my way of applying it is wrong, but the next weekend I noticed a very uneven look. Some spots seemed dry, others didn't. I didn't notice any running due to rain. I didn't wash it.



Next weekend (2 weeks later), it looked as if there was no product on the plastic on some spots, adding to the uneven look. After a ride on gravel roads, I decided to wash it, it was covered by sand dust and mud, especially the cladding.



WOW the cladding became extra clean just by rinsing it with plain water ! The cladding was also beading water like a fresh wax. Didn't improve the uneven look, but I knew then that there was still something on that plastic, something that prevented the dirt from sticking to it. Washed it like I always do. BW resisted the wash very well, the beading was unaffected.



On this weekend (after 3 weeks), I expect the beading to still be there, but perhaps I should reapply to try and get an even look this time.



For now my opinion is : seems to protect very well, protection that can last quite a while, but the WOW looks dulls fast.



However, it didn't last a week on my Echo's non textured plastic.
 
was't greasy at all.dried very fast,but i'm in phoenix.after talking to him,he said average is 2 to 3 mos.was't blotchie at all,matter of fact it goes on real smooth.
 
My application has been on for over a month, it has seen atleast 10 washes + sun + rain, still looks great and beads like new.
 
Skuz, any chance the plastic was dirty prior to application? Maybe it just needed to be cleaned with something like Meg's #39 first. Like I said, it's just a shot in the dark.
 
Does anyone have both Black Wow as well as Ultima Trim and Tire Protection? If so how would you compare/contrast them? What's the price on the Black Wow? I'm gonna feel kind of sad if it's cheaper and better than the Ultima:o
 
Thanks guys for the nice comments. NAM is where I did my initial testing and development of Black Wow (began with the MINI community), so it was natural to begin selling it there. I launched it on May 1. For the poster that complained about the shine disappearing--it's a matte look, not shiny. If it's shiny, it's because it's wet and will not maintain that look. If it's splotchy, then you probably have some other dressing on there that needs to be removed first. A few weeks ago, DavidB and myself tried to clean off some trim off my Black Wow'd treated MINI and apply his new Ultimate Trim Guard product, and it went on a little splotchy too. I believe it was because of the pre-existing BW that was on there, and there really isn't an effective way to remove BW. I should have BW back in stock in a few weeks, and you will be able to find it on NAM or at my site. For now, the only people that have any inventory are in Canada. =)
