All of the answers to your questions were on the FAQ link to the website that you called out as SPAM unfortunately. It's made in the USA, in a factory in Los Angeles, prior to that was made in the family laboratory until demand exceeded the capability to do everything inhouse. As far as beading--there are pictures also on that link.

And you're right, beading doesn't = protection, but ask the users of BW if you don't believe it. I was told recently that using it on wheel wells is great because it keeps stuff from sticking to it for easy washing off and after that it didn't need reapplication, so obviously something is happening there.

Note the post above is SPAM free based on Autopia's Definition:

If you post We/our/my company has... you are spamming!

If you post We/our/my product is... you are spamming!

If you post We/our/my customers'... you are spamming!

If you post We/our/my will be announcing... you are spamming!

If you post We/our/my test results for our... you are spamming!

If you post We/our/my can make or supply that... you are spamming!

I just felt I needed a short reply.

Actually, I would like to know where it is made, The US?

The other question I have is the beading as being proof. No disrespect here. It is just that with an LSP beading does not mean protection or if it is still there, if I said that right.

GC sheets and carnuaba wax beads like crazy.

Come to think of it, I feel pretty confident in my answers I'll provide so I'll answer them for you.

If you must really know Black Wow is made in the USA in an undisclosed manufacturing plant in Los Angeles.

And if you must also know all those other questions were answered and offered polietly to yourself and other members by Richard to help answers these sort of questions, when he posted a link to that website dedicated to Black Wow which you deemed spam.

Did you get a chance to look at that website before you pounced on it and called it spam, because it answers a lot of questions about Black Wow.

This is EXACTLY what I am talking about. :chuckle:

Well, I took another look at the site sponsors and I did not see BW. The link went directly to the video and a link to where to buy it a non-Autopia location. I just asked if it was allowed and people went crazy. The link was removed and the Mayor said no commercial activity in the general forums.

What is interesting is on another forum I found this:

Re: Black WOW @ Autopia

"That's interesting to know.

Well all I know is that even if I were a sponsor the only place I could talk about BW legally on Autopia would be in a dedicated BW forum and not in the general forums. That's just how the community works, and I understand all that. It won't happen again by me.

Further, I have no desire to test out any theories to see if I would get banned!

Interesting to say the least."

end quote

As for the FAQ, I must admit I just scanned them. So last night I read them. I learned all about BW. I also found 3 hyper-links to various other services and products it offers.

HMMMMM.

I had no intention of a firefight. The reaction surprised me and it speaks for it self about what the link actually was.

Now back to detailing.

:bigups

Kellyinkc, the way you post on the forums, including SCD speaks volumes about your character. Everytime you posted on SCD, you were trying to incite a fight! The quote you took this from was a discussion about the positive discussion of BW on Autopia, until you posted. This quote was from a portion of my response to DavidB's reminder of the rules, not something I was intimately familiar with BEFORE all this took place.

I had already been in discussion with DavidB about sponsorship alternatives prior to this happening, however when I posted that link in this thread to the video, it was done to help people like yourself who have trouble reading and prevent the spread of misinformation that results from your inability to do so.

If you really didn't intend for a firefight, then obviously your issues are deeper than you realize as you continue to try to modify information to fit your own agenda.

Have a nice day.

My concern is simple.

Why would you go scan another forum and bring quotes from a message over there to this forum. Clearly you've editing it or just showing what you want to show and not the entire thread.

You're not a media circus, so why does this.

This thread was simple. It was a help-out sort of speak on how to use Black Wow properly by its creator, but the thread was not started by him, he was only helping out after the fact.

And speaking of sponsors, do you not think he's spoken with David and that if he was actually do so much harm as you mentioned, David would have banned him?

This is when enough is enough.

re: I had no intention of a firefight.

It's actually quite interesting that the forum mods don't consider Kellyinkc of trolling, this was taken from another forum but describes Kellyinkc exactly.

"A troll is someone who inspires flaming rhetoric, someone who is purposely provoking and pulling people into flaming discussion."

"A classic **** troll is trying to make us believe that he is a skeptic. He is divisive and argumentative with need-to-be-right attitude, "searching for the truth", flaming discussion, and sometimes insulting people or provoking people to insult him. Troll is usually an expert in reusing the same words of its opponents and in turning it against them.

While he tries to present himself as a skeptic looking for truth ... his messages usually sound as if it is the responsibility of other forum members to provide evidence that what forum is all about is legitimate science."

Seems to me that based on your discussion thus far, you've done everything you could to troll without actually admitting it but apparently the mods don't think so despite it being in the forum rules as stated below.

"Trolling

"Trolling", or makings posts with the sole intention of creating problems on the forums is obviously against the forum guidelines."

Than if that is or was the case why bring it all up. Why not just asked a few questions through PM and why fuel the situation into something it was not.

Interesting that you say back to detailing after you bring everything us up and leave the real issue behind.

Can you guys take this off-line and use the PM function? These discussions don't further detailing cars in any way. In fact, I'm really not that interested in Black Wow anymore.

While some of you are outraged over the spam rule, you should be asking yourself, why is it here.

I know why, and its a good thing, trust me.

Its kinda like putting yourself on the do not call list. Ya some of the telemarketers might actually be calling with something worthwhile, but 99% arnt.

I will say though, one of my most frustrating aspects of detailing was black trim, now there is a cure !
