pliney the younger will hit the taps early next month. I'm hoping toronados in north park will have have it. till then i will drink my elder and enjoy by. If you have a costco card they have enjoy by and coronado brewing hoppy daze IPA at the mission valley location for $5.49 per bomber!!!

Younger: my buddy has connection at Toronado, they confirmed they will have it. It will be my first time having Younger, you've tasted it?

The this Thursday Coronado is selling their limited stout (250 bottles)

Anyone else drink Shiner? Ive been noticing lately their beer has been tasting a bit off. I thought it was because the store I bought it at. So I went to a beer store. Nope, both gave me the same taste. Its like they got a bit of unwanted bitter and tart taste going on.Love the beer but their marketing tactic has kinda thrown me off. They used to be pretty cheap being from TX. Now they avg $9 for a six pack.

I used to like Shiner too. It had been a few years but I picked some up a couple months ago and it wasn't the taste I remembered. Still wasn't bad though. But yeah I believe I had got it for like $5.99 for a 6 pack before and the price is at $8-$9 now from what I remember.

 After taking a break from the busch/sessions/packsaddle, the budweiser has been really good the last two weekends. And its not even in bottles. Figured i either got a really fresh case or they fine tuned it some.

How was the hangover? I swear it didn't matter how little of that stuff I drank it was a rough next morning...

:rofl No problem here. The packsaddle was good (rolling rock X10) but did not like it enough to but it again. The sessions is still one of the best lagers i have had.

Wow the Deschutes and Firestone are pretty strong. I think the strongest I have tried was Scaldis which was 12%.

Shiner is ok. Since you are up in Dallas you can go to Sam's Club and Costco and get cases for around $24.00. They normally have some really good beers in there and a bunch you probably wouldn't buy from the grocery stores because they are too expensive. When I go in I get out my phone and go to BeerAdvocate .. Sam's usually has the local beers also. They always have Samuel Adams and Sierra Nevada which always rank well.

Ill have to remember that. last night was my only day off so I drank some Old Grand-Dad 114 whiskey. Which is 114 proof, was pretty good and not as bad as you would think considering its stronger than the moonshine you can buy. Ended up using some 312 Goose neck for my chaser :)

 Dat Bourbon County......

I was able to get one case delivered to the store I work at. The rep told me their entire distribution area got only 80 cases of the coffee stout. We didn't sell 100 cases of Goose Island last year so we were not on the actual distribution list.

I am going to age a 4 pack for 5 years.

If you ever want to trade, let me know. I've heard great things about Bourbon County,
