Beer

Well I was hoping to get lucky and checked a nearby Ralphs and Albertsons. Unfortunately came out empty handed. I guess tomorrow I will need to hit a bevmo, total wine or liquorama and see if I can find something new to try

If you're in the sd area there's a place called Palm Springs liqueur(la Mesa). Best place I have ever been for beer!!!

Original Session, with the bright red label, is a classic all-malt pre-Prohibition style lager that reminds us of what American lagers used to taste like. It's flavorful, refreshing, and has a touch of that import-style taste. (Which, once upon a time, you didn't have to buy an "import" to get.) Oh, and it comes in a stubby, 11-oz bottle like your grandpa used to buy. So after your next session (surf, jam, gab, whatever), crack open a Session and drink to the good old new days.

Named World's Best Premium Lager at the World Beer Awards and winner of a slew of other shiny trophies, Session has truly earned itself a place at the bar. Not to mention the barbeque.
ABV 5.1% IBU 18

Session Lager is available in 6-packs, 12-packs and on draft.

my distributor sells it by the case. (24) that was the price per case.

mhehls86, there has to be some beer distributors near you that might carry it?

I'm in San Bernardino but go down to SD once or twice a year. I will check it out next time I go down there. Thanks for the recommendation.

I will continue searching but no such luck so far.

Well found it at Trader Joe's. Kind of have mixed feelings on it right now. First beer I did not care for whatsoever but I would never throw a beer out so 2nd beer I started to acquire the taste for it and 3-6 were delicious. I should have bought the Black Lager while I was there too, to give a shot but I will go back and pick that up to try. I might give another shot to the regular lager as well and see if the acquired taste from this last 6 pack sticks around.

Alpine looks like it has a couple good ones. That's a ways out there on the 8. I've been to the San Clemente and Carlsbad Pizza Port and always have a couple beers while I'm there but the one that always has me coming back is the Carlsbad Chronic Amber. Oh and the pizza is amazing too. Me and my wife always split a half San Clemente and half Carlsbad pizza.

at least you found it. for sure. to each his own. i have tried many a beer, and to me, this is what a lager should taste like. got to ween off it tho. at $27/case is it a bit to rich for my bank. but its so addicting....

Since my b-day is sunday, i picked up a case of PACKSADDLE PALE ALE. Made by a small local micro brewery here in BERLIN, PA. The beer distributor said its flying out the doors. Must be good? Have some sessions to finish up first. BTW: The PACKSADDLE was $30/case.
