Beer

Agreed. So 2 years ago my buddy was house sitting/dog watching when I was out of town and I had always told him he could have anything in the fridge as long as it wasn't the last one or a craft beer.

So I had two whole hog pumpkin ale, I believe, beers that had been aging for over a year at the time, and he drank one.

Then he has the nerve to tell me that he didn't even like it! Lol

Two years later I still have yet to find another bottle of that been down here. Everyone buys it up when it rarely comes out and no store will hold it for you.

It tastes Just like pumpkin pie, its so good.

The nerve! I'll have to keep an eye out for that come fall and try it out, I'd imagine I can get it seeing as Wisconsin isn't too far away depending on their distribution area. If not, the place where I get my beer will try and get it on order for me.

How does it compare to southern tiers pumpking ale? That's my favorite fall beer, especially since it's not sold as just a bomber now.

Just wanted to share I went to the Funky Buddha lounge down in Boca last weekend and it was AWESOME. If anyone is down in the Boca Raton FL area and loves beer, you should definitely check it out. They've got a large lounge with plenty seating and taps, free popcorn, a large outdoor area with daily events, giant jenga, corn hole, and an outdoor screen for movies or sporting events. They have a private bar too for parties or corporate events. Oh and there's a huge brewery too.

The SA REBEL IPA was ok. I did not care for it at all. The hops are there and it packs a punch at 6.5% ABV. But way to much piney after taste! It was like drinking a evergreen tree!! LOL. No worries. A bud a work will buy the rest of it. I just like straight domestic lagers. No weird flavors in my beer!

Felt like being cheap, but good. 24 case of 16oz cans was $24 w/tax. I personally love 16oz's, it was the same price per 24 as the 12oz's.

PS: I found my good camera!

I`ve always liked wheat beers (at least after 3 years in Germany). It took forever for the US to catch up to Europe. The Blue Moon and Shocktop brands are ok, but a shadow of what a real German brewed wheat beer tastes like. I was drinking wheat beer with an orange slice in the mid eighties, now Bud and Miller act like they created it.

BEER. How I determine dwell time. 1 beer = 15-20 min. Usually 2-3 is just right dwell time for me. This is only on my own vehicles & boat and at the end for final coat so I`m pretty much done after that. I don`t think the beers are a bad idea at that point.
Detailing beer- Miller lite
Grilling beer - Yuengling lite
Other current favorites,Funky Budda Floridian , Monk in the trunk amber ale ,St Bernardis Abt 12 mixed 50/50 with Angry orchard cider-really good! Presidente black, Modelo especial, shock top raspberry wheat.
My garage beer fridge is too close to where I`m working so it`s hard not to grab one while working!

Dunno if this qualifies...since this is a beer thread....but just tried some Newcastle Brown Ale....pretty good stuff

Very good stuff IMO. It is a little over-priced, but goes down well, good flavor, and doesn`t have too bad of a hangover effect.

Recently with all the hot weather I`ve been going cheap with Genesee Cream Ale. At $13.25 a 30 pack you can`t go wrong, unless you have too much, then the morning will not be pleasant. Not that I would know or anything...
