Beer

Reviving this thread, lol.

My New York State haul. Picked up the Saranac local to the brewery right in Utica, NY. It can be had around here, but nothing like picking it up at the source! The Stone IPA I`ve never seen at my local distributor, so I figured I`d try it.

(and yea, I should own stock in Vitamin Water, heh)

Now I`m thirsty, almost time for icy cold adult beverages, maybe couple beers or old fashioned. decisions decisions....

I only drink beer once or twice annually, had some Grolsch swing-tops at the Jag Club`s clambake last Saturday. Giving the empties to a gal who`s making some raspberry mead.

spent the afternoon yesterday with a web designer working on building my website

Awesome. One of the best Oktoberfest beers out there (IMHO)!

That was a good beer!

Meeting someone tonight...

+1 for Sam Adams Octoberfest. That one`s always good. Just recently had an Octoberfest from Central Waters Brewing in Amherst Wi, that one was really good too.

Also, excellent choice Swanic. :bigups

Big fan of the Belgian beers, enjoyed pretty much any Belgian Triple I`ve tried.

If you like the Sam Adams Oktoberfest, get ready for their Winter/Christmas Beers. A couple of them are really good and starting to hit the stores now.

I typically stick with small, independant regional/local brands. The exceptions are Paulaner Oktoberfest, Hacker Pschorr`s Heffiweizen, and some of the winter/Holiday brews from Sam Adams.

I didn`t plow through all 22 pages of this thread, but is anyone using Untapped? Great app for sharing beer discoveries with friends and keeping track of everything you`ve tried.

Also dig their winter lager.

Thanks for the tip on the app! I`ll have to look at that. I can never remember what I have or haven`t tried yet.
