No, I actually really did mean OID and UQD. I have both so it's a comparison I CAN actually do, hehe. I have yet to do my own comparison here on Autopia.

NSXTASY said:+1 for FK 425
+1 for FK in general
+1 for FK 108- Hands down the best rubber dressing IMO. It has the anti-static properties and the look is outstanding. I prefer the look over Z16, not quite as durable tho.
Bence said:I'm using 108 religiously, but never tried it on leather. Tdekany uses it on leather pretty often. Outstanding stuff.
Super_Herb said:I've used it on leather....also frequently on the dash and interior trim. Not sure on it's UV protective properties versus something like 303 (the website says it does have UV inhibitors). I use it as more of a quick clean type of detailer on the interior that helps reduce dust buildup.
And like others have said, using it on tv or monitor screens is amazing.....it really reduces the static charge and dust attraction on my big screen tv.
FK1 Pink Wax and 425 have been staples of my detailing world for quite a while now. Simply great products for a great price.
Rob Tomlin said:By the way, has anyone used FK 108 on their leather seats? Results?
NSXTASY said:I have used it on everything that is vinyl/rubber/leather/plastic, and while it works on leather pretty well, its not my favorite use for it. Tires and dashes/doors are the most frequent places I apply it to. Occasionally it is a bit too glossy on dashes for my liking but the initial gloss fades and a nice sheen is left after a few days.
I use it religiously on tires and wells. I reeeally like it on wells, I spray it on and wipe it in with an old MF.
At $36/gallon its hard to beat, much better than 303 AP IMO.
On tires, make sure the tire is totally dry, apply a thin coats until you get the gloss you want. If you want a low natural gloss, apply super thin coats with an app, dont spray the tire directly, and work it in.
The look of 108 on tires is stellar.
Rob Tomlin said:Just for clarification: you use FK 108 on your leather, right? Not 425?
Your post is a little confusing, because you say you use "it" on leather, and you use "it" on your computer monitor. I have to assume you wouldn't use 108 on your computer monitor!![]()
Super_Herb said:No, I actually spray a bit of 425 on a MF then wipe the leather. It's more of a quick clean in between the full on leather treatment/conditioner. When I've got the spray bottle of 425 in my hand while doing the vinyl/plastic interior, I just give a quick wipe on the leather too. Now that you pointed out 108, I guess I'll be buying that too. That's a product I just "need" to have now that I've seen it.
Damn, it never ends......I swear, a crack addiction is probably cheaper than a detailing product addiction.

Rob Tomlin said:Thanks for the excellent info.
On tires, I actually prefer a somewhat wetter look. If I apply the 108 thicker, will it give a wetter look?
