Review: 3D Waterless Car Wash

We understand that 3D is currently offering free products in exchange for reviews. We have remained open, but asked repeatedly for anybody who is posting their review of 3D's products in order to prevent their credit card from being charged to please post this in the reviews. Back in the day, this forum of advertising was known as shilling, and was greatly looked down upon.

Please read this thread before using our forum as an opportunity for you to make money (in effect by getting free products).

may I make a suggestion

ban this screen name, so when he gets another freebie and decides to spam the world, he has to take extra time to re-do his persona, or possibly ban ip addy

tact was the advanced class in school - being an under achiever, I either didn't pay attention to it, or never took it.

shill: to talk about or describe someone or something in a favorable way because you are being paid to do it

In all fareness to the OP his only mistake was not clearly stating in his review that it was part of the 3D Free Product Promotion and Todd's removal of the review was justified because he has made it clear you must make that statement. The OP was not "paid" or given free product to say anything specific about the 3D product--just to give a review. The program has no stipulation that you give a positive review or that you cannnot give a negative review--just that you use the product, review the product and post your review on four forums--positive or negative.

What you have said here is somewhat accurate. The payment, though not cash, is however the product being reviewed. The old saying of "not biting the hand that feeds you" should be taken into consideration in any review of a product that is provided without cost. It's not hard to imagine that human nature might allow for some bias in such a situation.

Our membership rules state that reviews of this nature be announced. That isn't too much to ask. By joining the forum, a member has agreed to the rules even if they didn't read them, they've clicked a button saying they agree to the terms and condition. A second post of this nature would warrant termination of membership.

This said, we're always looking for good members, members that post reviews. We hope that this is what is in store.

GearHead_1-- Totally agree that the "not knowing the rules" is an excuse as I stated in my post "and Todd's removal of the review was justified because he has made it clear you must make that statement."
 
To add what GH said....

This is a private forum. The owner specifies what is allowed and not, and whenever they want they can change that rule.

For myself, honestly I think it's bad manners, and bad business.

I'll give ya something for free, just go all over the internet and post this crap.

I can tell you for a fact, I WILL NEVER BUY A 3D PRODUCT.

They either knew what was going to happen and didn't care, or they are too stupid to be in business.

I get to vote with my wallet
 
This product was free from 3D/HD. I was just doing a simple review in part of their promotion. I don't understand how i am a shill
