1985 Honda CB650SC Night Hawk

While I owned several dirt bikes years ago, I really had no interest in street riding until 1981.
They closed most of the riding areas around here and I bought a street bike to see if riding the roads was for me. Since that time, I have only owned 3 street bikes including this one which I purchased new. It replaced an almost identical 1983 which I had also purchased new.
Being as the Night Hawk is fairly quick, light and fun to ride, I never had a hankering for anything different.
It is a low 12 second quarter miler which is slow compared to the bikes of today, but was pretty quick in 1983. 12.1 @110 with the right rider. I'm sure I was never that fast.
Hydraulic valve lifters and shaft drive means you just change the oil/filter occasionally, put gas in it and ride.
Easy. (Have I ever mentioned I like easy?:))

Nice looking bikes...to bad you hadn't cleaned them...LOL

I went over my bikes with a QD every time I got done riding. :D

Very nice! Riding is something that you either love or you don't. I use to have a quote in my sig on some other forums...which I took from another. :D

Love that R1. Man, I would love to find a chick who rides a sportbike.

Anywho, this is me on my badboy. Sans hot rider chick...:(

Thanks!

You gotta love Kawi green! :bigups

Thanks man. I loved Kawi green ever since I was a wee lad. I lived one street over from a Kawi dealership when I was like 10 - 13 years old and I would go there all the time. Funny thing is, I actually bought the bike from that dealership, some 20 years later. Awww, how sweet.

Had to make the picture bigger too, so here::rockon

SWEET bike RaskyR1!! My next bike is going to be a Suzuki M109R, if everything goes go I hope by next summer. This is my 1998 Kawasaki Ninja 500, I just started riding last year so this is my "starter" bike. I cant complain with 55-60 mpg.
