Yes, I know....boring (it's my wife's favorite)......but it's clean!!! ;)

Hey I thought I would share my bike, this is the first Day it was in the sun! Mind you the temperature was somewhere in the negatives!

If you look real close you can see that it is actually a Metalic Blue!

I didn't get to ride it much this year but I need to get a tank pad, there are alot of micro scratches from my riding gear! :wall

it only has 500 kms on it right now

Hi everyone, my current ride is a Yamaha R1, its currently up for sale as I feel like getting an enduro bike for winter over here, Ive owned her for about 6 years now, ive done quite a few trackdays on it, I only live a few miles from Brands Hatch, I also go and spend 4 days on the infamous Nordschleife track (nurburgring) every year. Its the most awesome track ever but very unforgiving. The only mods to the bike are Harris rearsets, Ohlins sterring damper. Ive got a race exhaust aswell but the police are abit strict around here so I stick with the standard system.

Heres me and my R1..

This is going over the mountain at Cadwell Park..

Nurburgring? I'm so jealous. Driving on there is definitely on my bucket list. Sweet bike too. Good luck with the sale.

(not exactly sure what year)

This is my 07 Superglide. It will be 3 years old in Feb 2010. I have 68K on it now and this is bike #13. I have ridden from Phoenix to Mitchell SD and back, done many 400 and 500 mile day trips and use it for transportation to work. Living here in AZ is great for riding.:rockon

ok guys, help me out here please. I own a nice 01 Honda Valkyrie and its been in storage all winter and now its time to give it a service and clean the dust and winter funk. I am looking for suggestions on how to clean paint, chorme and aluminum. What products to use and what to stay away from, do you have any tips or tricks and in what order do you clean what items. Whats the best way to get bugs off lexan, paint and chrome.

Thanks in advance.

Have to bump this...

Just picked up the new love of my life haha

Brand new 2009 R6s. So far I've installed brighter bulbs, taken off some stickers, integrated tail light, and few bits and pieces here and there. I have a D&D c/f exhaust on the way as well as a few other mods. Only 200 miles on it after a week of ownership :( Need to get out more and ride farther away haha.

Anyway, pics when I picked it up below. I'll be shooting some better quality photos when the bike gets the few mods that are on the way.

Weird that this thread got bumped. I have been considering getting a new bike, maybe this the forum gods speaking to me.

Not sure how I missed this thread, but heres an old pic of my Katana. Its currently in pieces and should be one if the sickest Kats around once its done. Cant get recent pics to upload right now, so Ill post a couple once Photobucket gets its act together.

1997 Honda Valkyrie

The Valkyrie came out when I was first really getting into motorcycles. I was a Honda fan at the start and I can remember that video of the guy powersliding the Valkyrie around a parking lot/pavement. Then I rode my first superbike, a then brand-new Honda CBR1100 XX Blackbird, and that was that.

Then I got a screaming deal on my first bike, a little known Yamaha Radian (YX600). The thing was geared like a dirt bike and would wheelie past all of my friends on Vtwin cruisers. The next bike was a Honda CBR600 F3 (in Euro colors), then a Yamaha R1, and finally a CBR600RR. I have been thinking long and hard about getting a new R1, or I may get a used one and use the extra money to buy an older Yamaha VMax to compliment it.
