What did you do detailing wise today?

Topped my DD with another layer of PA Cosmic Spritz:

And used Black Onyx tire gel for the first time in a while:

I don`t remember it being so shiny before.

Also cleaned and dressed my old snow tires with BLACKFIRE Total Eclipse Tire Dressing Gel:

Darkened them up nicely. Hopefully, that will help me sell them faster on Craigslist...

bf eclipse is my fave tire dressing. nice look. lasts a good while. smells great!

Pulled out the cluster to make a slight change. While it was out, I polished it out with some M205 on a Rupes yellow pad using the ibrid nano. Coated with opti-lens.

Well, I detailed a piano... The piano at work looked like an eyesore with all the scratches- gave me a headache every time I looked at it. I decided to bring my toys to work and do something about all this nonsense...

I started with a white wave LC pad on the PE 14 at 1200rpm with m101. That didn`t give me quite what I wanted, so then I went to a MF cutting pad with HD cut on the R21 on speed 4.5.

Wasnt going for perfection here, but this got me close to what I wanted. Not a paid job and was doing it just for fun, so then I went to a tangerine HD orbital pad on the R21 at speed 3 with HD Speed. Looked pretty sexy!

Washed my brothers Merc and washed my truck and put a coat of Wolfgang Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant on it (free sample bottle).

Ah man i just spent more money on amazon on more detailing supplies. I ordered a short wand and a cg foam cannon to replace the cheap foam cannon i currently have that only has one working setting, some 3d grand slam engine degreeser and some brushes.

I think I need to burn my card, lol.

My GF wants to burn mine. I bought some 3D APC and some bottle off Amazon last night and I thought she was going to kill me. I have two jobs scheduled and no APC. So it`s something I actually needed. There is a lot of other stuff but that has to wait.

I took care of a set of headlights for a coworker.

He took it to a "detail shop" a while back and said they weren`t fixable because the problem was inside the headlight, and not on the surface. Lulz

Cleaned the rental while the Mustang is in the shop. The car was pretty bad but white still looks great in pictures when it`s dirty.

Two Bucket wash with HD wash
WG Deep Gloss Liquid seal (freebie with last order)
Sprayed the deck lid with Ironx cause it was so bad it was brown.

Wheels were sprayed with ironx and didn`t do any scrubbing just power washed it off.

Waterless washed my car and my dad`s. Thanks to the rain for washing a majority of the dust that was on my car for 1 day thanks to the opti-seal I put on 1 day before it rained which made things easier. The rain also washed the 3 day old dust off my dad`s. Thanks to Gloss Coat and it`s self cleaning effect. I was able to blast off the water with the DP Turbo dryer and waterless wash with opti-clean followed by optimum instant detailer on both cars. Easy peezy for both which is nice.

My brother showed up later and I gave his car an ONR + Big Red Sponge wash followed by an application of the 2016 version of Reload. No issues applying reload. It was even getting into the low 60`s/upper 50`s while I was applying it. Glass received an application of opti-glass clean & protect to boost the DP Glass Coating that has been on the car for over a year now. The tires were cleaned with Mothers Back to Black Tire Renew while the wheels were waterless washed with a heavy soaking of opti-clean. The tires were topped off with an application of McKee`s 37 tire gel. A total waterless/rinseless wash for the entire car. Happy to report that carpro essence plus was still slick 24 days after I used it on his hood which was the test area.

The big blue drying towels work great, I got 2 of the 18x18 and only used one to dry the Fusion.
