What did you do detailing wise today?

Best client appreciation yet!! I just love a client who doesn`t complain about pricing and doesn`t make it harder to work on their vehicle. This guy sometimes cleans his own cars. His wife made me a pie of choice. Lemon meringue it was!

I just ordered again. That free gift of 8oz Wolfgang deep gloss liquid seal kinda got me and the flat rate with 15%. What`s gonna kill me is if they have a better sale in a few days lol

woke up with what feels like a brick on top of my head, haha

walked into garage (for the daily check to make sure nobody robbed me, lol) and decided something has to change today...more on that later
 
Finally had some time for my Garage Queen.
Tires got foamed with Xenit, worked over with Woolies, rinsed well, blow dried, then I applied

Crystal Seal got a spray on the wheel and 1 on a ap. Pad
Wiped it on, no wipe off. Easy. Loved It.

Total Trim & Tire was a pain. Couldn`t apply it even,
Without using 4 times what it suggests and going
Round and round the tire. The look is plain as well.
Not dark or a shine just plain.

The paint got Uber Rinseless with my battery operated
Sprayer at 2oz to 1 gal. Ratio, and 8 gold towels
And last buff with 1 superfluff buff towel

First wash of 2017. (First wash in 1 month...)

Presoak with D114/WGURW mixture. Wash with WGURW. Kenotek as a drying aid. Topped with Wolfgang Spritz sealant. Tires with Hyperdressing 2:1. Interior with McKee`s - although it was pretty clean already.

I polished my stovetop, granite counters and dining room table top with HD Adapt and coated with PBL V2. Just for ease of cleaning.

Working on getting a couple stains out of other parts of the granite- I didn`t do it all. Will coat afterwards and hopefully will be able to avoid further staining.

What kind of car is this

Cleaned and coated the leather seats on my dad`s 2015 Impala. 2 coats on the rear seat and 3 coats on the front seats. Was losing daylight and I am wearing the Scangrip iView headlamp while taking this photo. Impressive headlamp.

Started cleaning the barrels on my 9 yo SUV (never touched due to lack of jack and stands). While replacing suspension today, daughter helped get one wheel mostly done and the other still needs another stronger cleaning (PB S&R).

So please tell how the 3D final touch worked as a clay lube ???
I have some, seemed very weak, didn`t clean very well, so if I could use as a lube that would be good.
Car looks great !!

3D Final touch has worked well for me over the years. You are correct, It doesn`t clean very well. Light dust only! I use WGURW for cleaning. However when I finish this gallon of 3D. I`ll be trying the WGURW as a clay lube.
