I detailed this vette for a friend a couple of months ago, or so. This car has been at the shop for awhile, and the owner asked me to give it a bath, and perk her up :D
The ragtop was pretty dirty, and the whole car needed to be detailed badly.
The top was vacuumed first, and the dirt worked out using Turtle Wax Upholstery Cleaner (Oxy) once the top was cleaned, I applied a protective coat of 303 Fabric Guard the next day.

The paint required a little bit of work, perhaps a clay bar was in order. However, upon a recommendation from a friend, I decided to use Zymol Wax Cleaner. It did a fantastic job in cleaning up the paint, removing some dull/hazed spots, and it really gave the paint a nice pop!
Once it got nice and cleaned, I topped it with Rejex, along with the chromed wheels, and windshield. The car came out nice, shiny and slick!
On the tires I used Adam's VRT, on hard plastic trim, I used Meguiars Endurance Gel. The polish metal was done with Adams #1 and # 2 metal polishing kit. It was really a simple process, not too fancy.

I did the same process on my Z06. Here's a couple of pics when on the day I did it, and two days later at the track...

I've heard Rejex is pretty durable stuff. looks good.
Thanks. I would say the stuff is fairly durable. I did my own durability test, and I think you can get 4-6 months out of it for a car that sees no garage. Obviously a lot longer if garaged.
My durability test was after a single coat of RejeX. I went 3.5 months where the car saw; snow, rain, hot weather, bird droppings, and no garage. I washed the car regularly with GC Car Wash, and never used a QD at all. I stopped the test after 3.5 months because I had to detail, and the wait was killing me, and couldn't take it anymore! :D
So, once I decided to voluntarily end my own durability test, I took these pics to show the beading patterns after being washed with GC CW, then another two shots what it looked like dry.
Since then, I've been applying a coat every 3 weeks or so, or when weather permits.
For being outdoors the whole time, I'm satisfied with that. I think it could've easily gone another 4 weeks or so, even then it's hard to estimate how long it would've gone. Again no QD, just water. I kept a spray of purifed water for emergency clean up.

Sweet vette goose..both look real nice.
Thanks. It's a tough job keeping a vette looking nice, it's even tougher keeping a vette looking nice when you actually drive it! Hehe!! I like racing my vette at the track, drive it, and enjoy it as much as time allows me. I love detailing, and this car keeps me on my toes!
