I detailed this vette for a friend a couple of months ago, or so. This car has been at the shop for awhile, and the owner asked me to give it a bath, and perk her up
The ragtop was pretty dirty, and the whole car needed to be detailed badly.
The top was vacuumed first, and the dirt worked out using Turtle Wax Upholstery Cleaner (Oxy) once the top was cleaned, I applied a protective coat of 303 Fabric Guard the next day.
The paint required a little bit of work, perhaps a clay bar was in order. However, upon a recommendation from a friend, I decided to use Zymol Wax Cleaner. It did a fantastic job in cleaning up the paint, removing some dull/hazed spots, and it really gave the paint a nice pop!
Once it got nice and cleaned, I topped it with Rejex, along with the chromed wheels, and windshield. The car came out nice, shiny and slick!
On the tires I used Adam's VRT, on hard plastic trim, I used Meguiars Endurance Gel. The polish metal was done with Adams #1 and # 2 metal polishing kit. It was really a simple process, not too fancy.
