I bit the bullet! Cwcad was nice enough to send me the zaino lineup to try on my car. I was super happy with my fk1 lineup but he insisted I try it. I went into this detail not expecting much. I got alot of advice from cwcad and from the zaino site and looking at threads on dc.

THOUGHTS ON ZAINO:
Overall I wasnt thrilled. The zaino system isnt hard at all but it was pretty time consuming. I dont like spending so much time on LSP's. I am used to layering fk1 #2180 and pink wax in half an hour. The surface was decently slick contrary to some reviews I have read. the application although tedious and long was not unbearable. You get into the zone with application eventually. I was able to get 3 coats onto my car with a hair less than 1 oz of z5 and z2pro.
My biggest complaint about zaino is its lack of depth. I am used to seeing an extra layer of clearcoat when i finish a detail and used to having dripping wet paint. The zaino was just a little 2-D for me.
Now for the good stuff. Zaino gives off some really crisp clear reflections. I like how everything was reflected so crisply, but I didnt enjoy the super bright paint. If zaino could combine the crystal reflection with dripping wet, i would love it. I will try topping it.. who knows?
Comments welcome and please ask as many questions as you want, or give me advice.
HUGE THANKS TO CWCAD!!!!
