It was a nice weekend and my buddy wanted me to detail his new toy he just got. I decided to try my new Zaino products to see what all the hype was about and use my buddy's car as the guinea pig. Overall I am impressed with the Zaino line and when I was done with my friends ride so was he. I only did the exterior and will do the interior on a different weekend. Please let me know what you all think. Mike...

that is some nice work!! great job!! and amazing car!

Thank you, the befores really don't show how bad the paint really was but, it was really swirled and scratched all over. Mike...

Mike that looks amazing. Next time I'm down there I'll bring the drag radials and have at it with James and his turbo Porsche.

Excellent job, the paint looks superb! :up

Thank you Scott, I think I need to come down to Texas and have you give me some lessons on picture taking. Also maybe a lesson or two on detailing because I seem to take for ever on a detail that you could knock out in 4-6 hours. Mike...

Great work!

I hope you taught him how to maintain it or he has you maintain it. That 996 should always look liked that!

5ive and RyanDe680 - I forgot to mention in the post that I used Eagle One metal p[olish than topped with Z-AIO & Z-CS. Thanks for the compliments it means alot coming from everyone on Autopia. Mike...

How did you like the CS? Did IT work as easy as advertised?

Love the 996's

The very first time I used it I did the hood and it was streaked because I used way to much but, after a Z-6 wipedown it was good to go. On the rest of the car I was able to control my habit of overdoing it and did not have the streaking issues. The stuff eas real easy to apply once you get a hang of how much to use and you barely use any especially on a small car (1/4oz or less). It did make the car look wetter and really compliments the Z-AIO on the wheels. So to answer your questions, yes I do like the CS and yes it does work as advertise with no disappointments for me. Mike...

Beautiful Car!!!!!

Excellent detail. Time well spent! :bow

When you recover ;). Try the ZAIO on those red brake calipers. Cleans and protects and add a great shine to them. :xyxthumbs

Very nice work! Great to see that Z5pro looks good even on silver.

How would you rate the hardness of the porsche silver? I know that the black twin turbo I did was pretty darn soft. I was able to remove a good amount of swirls with ZPC/white LC/PC6.

Great work! Those exhaust pipes are stunning! I find that my spraying directly on the applicator with about an 8" gap between the sprayer and pad, I can apply the CS quite thin.

I don't know if the clear was hard or if the scratches were just that bad but, there were scratches mainly on the hood that my rotary with a yellow cutting pad and SSR3 would not phase. You can only tell when it is under my halogens that their are still some flaws but, in the sun and in his shop it looked flawless. This fall when he brings back for me to do again I will get some Menzerna to try and if that doesn't work I will wet sand the hood. It was just odd to me for the fact that it was only the hood that was a problem. Mike...

In my experience with my Artic Silver 996 (and a former artic silver Boxster) I would rate the Porsche metallic paint and clear coat as quite hard. Swirls can be difficult at best to remove with a PC. However, on my former non-metallic speed yellow 993 I found the paint to be rather soft.
