You don't mention your method of application, but if you are doing it by hand the #9 would take a lot of effort to remove much in the way of paint flaws. I also don't think the Z5 removes swirls so much as hides them.I tried Meguiars #9 swirl remover and it did a bad job, I am going to get Zaino Z5 pro polish and try it. If that does not work then I will try Zaino pc-z to get rid of swirl marks, spider webs. Anyone use these products.
While I agree with what you are saying, the #80 might not be the best product to use as a prep for Zaino. I'm not sure if it contain's Meguiar's "Trade Secret Oils". It might not let the Zaino bond properly.I like M80 with a PC for removing swirls.
80 is much easier to use than 83 but it is milder so it will take longer.
If you are not experienced at this try a PC and Meg.80
nearly impossible to screw up and yet it will give excellent results.
Your right Charles I overlooked the ZainoWhile I agree with what you are saying, the #80 might not be the best product to use as a prep for Zaino. I'm not sure if it contain's Meguiar's "Trade Secret Oils". It might not let the Zaino bond properly.
I do know that #80 topped with Meg's NXT Tech Wax looks awfully good as a combination. The durability of NXT Tech Wax is kicked around a lot and I have no idea how long it lasts. It lasted a month or more for me and I have read comments about weeks up to several months.
It probably doesn't come close to the durability of the Zaino.

3. I would definitely recommend you remove the wax buildup on your paint. Just use Liquid Dawn (hand dishwashing liquid) as a car wash. It has a high alkaline content which cuts right thru carnauba wax, paraffin, silicone oils, etc. This will get your paint finish squeeky clean and wax free.
If you have marring, an AIO product may not be enough to do the job. I would use a swirl remover/polish to take care of the marring.there are a lot of marring and minor scratches. my question is do i have to strip the paint or can i use say an all in one and start over, what's your recommendation. what process should i follow? thanx for your input in advance.
This answers your question about stripping/starting over.well, you need to polish your paint. It'll strip your existing coat of sealant/wax.
Like Derek said, the polishing will take care of the stripping and prep for an LSP.thanx again for your input, should i strip it or just polish it on top of what i already have?:hmmm:
Not to take anything away from Klasse AIO, it really isn't a swirl remover.well rhanx for all the great advice. i've got zainos fusion pc i'll give that a try first, if that doesn't work i 'll give klasse aio a shot i've heard good things about their products.:rockon

If you are wanting to go the Zaino route, the Z-PC would seem to be the better choice to remove flaws, then use the Z5 as your LSP.
My personal experience with Meguiar's #9 was not bad, but it did take a lot of time, even with a PC. Meg's #80 with a polishing pad on a PC does a lot more in less time.
Having done swirl removal by hand and with the PC, I can't believe I once went to that much work.
The PC will do a decent job, but it still can't compare to a rotary. It also isn't as likely to cause problems in the hands of someone without polishing experience.
