Zaino MF towel was released

Ry you see my last pm from a couple weeks back?

What would you use the towels for if not that then?

I see it now...:nixweiss I don't know how I missed it. I'll respond back.

I like to use them for z6 and z8 on my special cars. I did use one to remove z5 from a Viper ACR last week and it worked very nice. I just made sure I got all the residue out before I put it back in the bag, so when I wash it it does not get clung in the fibers.

I had some nice pak-shak ones over the winter and I used a couple of them to remove collinite wax and after I washed them I noticed the wax residue still stuck in one of them.

Maybe they were doing a test to see how it looked on the site...didn't that happen with the ZAIO or ZCS release? That it appeared on the site briefly before it was really out?

I seem to remember something like that.

The Zaino towels are available (but hiding) on the Zaino website.

To find them, from zainostore.com, click on product info (on the banner at the top) and at the top ... Zaino Blonde Borderfree Towel: 3 pack

Enjoy!

PS. Would post link, but can't as a newbie. Thanks for all the great info on this site!

I wonder which component is of american origin, does that towel or any mf really consist of anything more than one material? I will take rydawg's rec on it though and try some out possibly since he is the king of gloss.

they look the same as the ones we've had available in the UK for a while - they are VERY VERY nice and perfect for sealant removal or sprays like Z-8.

I like the thicker Eurows for wax buffing but these are brilliant for their products :)

Interesting product. Figures an inovative person like Sal would come up with it. I wonder what makes them better than what's currently flooding the market?

Working directly with textile experts and manufacturers, hundreds of revisions later, we're able to EXCLUSIVELY bring a towel to you that finally meets our standards. We analyzed 1000's of towels from every major manufacturer and reseller.

Sounds like a great towel.

It's a friggin towel... This hype bandwagon has got to be the most insane POS response I see on this site. If Zymol came out with a towel and charged $400 would you guys all go nuts too? I mean it's a "Real Zymol". There's a million choices out there I'll bet my very last dollar that some other towel out there will match this and be cheaper. These guys buy bulk lots add some stitching to them.. Slap a name tag on them and charge out the nose. There's nothing special about any MF towel out there. Some are soft some aren't but NONE are special. they are what they are end of story.... What makes a Zanio towel better than a Meg's towel or a AG towel oe a DP towel or (insert any name brand you want because they all probably have towels)?????

Looks similar in plushness to a towel I got from my local Optimum distributor, except the Zaino towel is hemless and $3.50 more each. I prefer a hemless towel but since I usually buy them in quantities of 10, that is $35 more plus shipping.

I know MF towels are marked up like crazy (especially the ones from China and Korea), a $6 price-point for a super plush 16 x 16 hemless towel would probably get my business and others who need to have a lot of towels on hand.

Hmm.. Agreeing with Jakerooni again... something's gotta be wrong, here...

I know, I know, I bit the 1700 dollar bait and bought the Vintage, but there was some math there. Long story short, it'll end up costing me 78 bucks per refill over my life time, which isn't bad for a high end wax.

But a micro fiber towel??

I'll be sticking to the Eurows.

Although having the 'dawgs approval has me very curious.

:chill:

this is a detailing forum.

I don't really see much hype here. Some have had the chance to use them and like them. They are made differently than any towel you're currently using.

You either don't mind the price and try them out for yourself or you move on. It's really not a big deal or something to get in a tiff about.

Here's my perspective:

You might charge $200+ for a detail. The guy down the street "says" he does the same thing and charges $100. Some people will be able to know and tell the difference and pay you to do the best quality job they can pay for. Others just want their car shiny and go down the street to save some money. As long as both are satisfied with the outcome, does it really matter?
