I used the new Zaino CP Fusion today. I must say that the smell was absolutely intoxicating
I started with an LC white pad and started at a speed of 4 and ran it up to 6. I did a small area then inspected my work with a drop light. I was frightened at first because it seemed I was really marring the hell out of the paint. I then tried more product and less prioduct. I tried slower speed and faster speed. I used more pressure and less pressure. I then changed to a finishing pad. Still lots of what looked like marring and ulra fine scratches.
Ok...I called Sal. He was great and very patient as we conversed about my situation. He seems to think that it was just byproduct results. He asked me to try some Z2 Pro in a small area over the problem and to see if it would level it out. It did. Knowing that Z2 Pro doesn't contain any fillers I was a bit astonished.
:idea Putting some thought into what might be the case...Most, if not all products have some fillers and oils. The ZCP contains none and it stripped away everything revealing a TRUE bare clear coat finish. Revealing what i probably havn't seen before.
So i completed the whole car and am now working on my final coats of Z5 and Z2.
The ZCP was very easy to work with and the abrasives diminshed quickly. I did get some dusting but nothing terrible. it removed most minor imperfections and water spots. The finish was squeeky clean and glossy.
I'm still a bit con fused about the marring that occured but it seems the Z5/Z2 have taken care of it!
I would like to here from others who are using it and what thier results are!!
So far everything is looking great and continue to love Zaino! :woohoo:
I'll post pics when I'm done.
