zesty-man
how do ya like it?
today i was cleaning my garage and i looked at my rims and they were pretty black, but for the most part, it was all surface brake dust. what i usually do is get a bucket of car wash and clean my rims the hard way, one by one, scrubbing all the little grooves etc etc. but this time i got eagle one A2Z (something i havent used in quite a while), and gave it a try. i was feeling lazy so i just sprayed and didnt use any agitation, after all, the rims only had surface brake dust and they had been sealed. the brake dust came rite off, no agitation required! A2Z did a great job on taking it off. all i had to do was wipe the rims dry (in a way, that serves as agitation), and they looked like new.
my initial thoughts on this were, A2Z works well with some kinda sealent on the rims. the brakedust literally slipped rite off the rims as i sprayed on the A2Z. however, i began to wonder, if A2Z is strong enough to take off brake dust without any agitation, would it also be strong enough to take off sealents? from what i can tell, my rims dont quite feel as smooth as the first time i sealed them, but thats expected.
any of you guys have any theories?
i would also like to add that the A2Z was great....... it was so easy to get to all those hard to reach places were brakedust accumulates. just spray and rinse, hehe. i felt that it was more practical than hand washing rims twice a week, but also better than S&W on the rims becuase it eats up my MFs, turning them all black.
