Worlds best wax

I'd bet that the author of that web page does not speak English as his/her first language - so I'd tend to overlook the grammatical and spelling errors - how many of us would be able to write a good sized article in Chinese or Serbian or Urdu?

Judging the product by the presentation may not be appropriate.

Gotta disagree with you. If someone wants my money, the least they can do is present themselves well. If I was trying to sell something in China, I'd probably enlist someone fluent in Chinese to do the writing.

This is a product available on an Internet website, and I have nothing but the presentation on their website to sway me. If they can't write a decent description of their products, they should have hired someone who can.

Ok well i finnaly decided to tune in.

I have not tried the wax. My mortage payment waas due.. and i like my head to be covered with a roof, maybe in the future.

I know its a relitivly new product but seams intresting. And with the VW comments. as far as i iknow its not. dont quuote me but i THINK they might be diffrent

They seemed to have fixed some errors! I cross-checked a few of the things that you guys have pointed out and they have been corrected! Also, I don't see overzealous use of the CAPs LoCK key.

Someone's paying attention...

Now if they could only pay attention to the title and remove the apostrophe from "it's" and add it to "Worlds", AND learn to spell carnauba they'd be golden!

I agree that a conscientious seller should do his best to present his product in the best possible light, but I've seen numerous spelling and grammatical errors on sites produced by English-speaking people, and it didn't necessarily dissuade me from buying - I just put it down to a poor education.

I guess my point is, sometimes we jump all over an obvious foreign attempt at English that gets mangled in the translation, but when native English speakers can't spell correctly in their own posts, no one seems to mind. I know there's a difference between a web page that's promoting a product, and a forum posting, but proper spelling is proper spelling...

Anyway, I like my Collinite 845, so I'm not in his target audience anyway. :)

Cheers!

I was told that their site wasn't ready and shouldn't have been up. They also have another site Autobahnsalon.com

:p I thought you ordered it.

I am pretty sure its not VW, I highly doubt Dave would sell VW products under a different label. I don't think he will comment on this because I think he might be busy with his new web site. :( too bad his new site doesn't work! I really want some Deep Cleanse ASAP!

The Auto Bahn booth is selling this product line at the Toronto Autoshow. They were using a Ferrari to demo the product on. Based on the rep of Autobahn I'm going to guess it's some product from asia repackaged with 50% markup. Then again, they could have found the secret to the world's best wax.

Just curious, since this is your 1st post and your already bashing WBW. Let us know how you know this. if this is true then a few of us have already been duped.

Dogma,

My opinion of Autobahn was based on this post and WBW has the same address as autobahn according to the whois data for worldsbestwax.ca and the-autobahn.com. Both are 4646 dufferin st Toronto.

My opinion is based on the rep of Autobahn not the product itself.

I'm not a guy thats just buys dozens of waxes, I have Natty's Blue, Souveran, Collinite 915, and CG 50/50 so feel I have my bases covered, actually with any of those don't see the point in getting anything esle, but for some reason I'm drawn to try their connoiseur wax.

How do others like it? Compared to say what I have above.

How in the heck did you guys convince yourselves to give these people your money? I have some oceanfront property in Wisconsin that I'd like to discuss with you!!!

Simple. Most on this site are completely addicted to detailing and in search of the perfect shine from a product that goes on by itself. The only other endeavor that can addle one's mind as horribly as detailing is golf.

No matter how good the shine (or score in golf), it is not good enough. Never mind that one's best detailing efforts are immediately compromised by dust, rain , road grime, stone chips, etc. Many photograph their detailing efforts inorder to preserve their fleeting accomplishments. When not detailing cars, these sick individuals can be found on the beach, putting finishing touches on sandcastles minutes before high tide.

I congratulate the many manufacturers and dealers who have built up multi-million dollar businesses catering to an ever increasing group of automotive compulsives. Selling high-end boutique detailing supplies is almost like pouring drinks for alcoholics, but more socially acceptable.

Hmmmm. Maybe I should look into delveloping my own ultra exclusive hyper expensive products. There is obviously a market for products with "World's Best....." in the name.

I am the same way ,only I am a true Zealot. I love new products though. As far as what you have listed above. the only one I don't have is CG 50/50. Here is what I found.

I feel that up until now Souvran and Surluster have been my top 2 carnuba's. I like NB and Colinite 915 too, but not as much.

JMO , WBW Connoiseur. their surface cleanse and surface refresher are all excellent. My perception of the Connoiseur wax very easy on very easy off absolutely no dusting and left an extremely wet and deep finish. As far as durability I haven't had enough time to test ,but as we all know the only carnuba that lasts is colinite.

I think their products are similar to Zymol's concepts. For carnuba lovers its worth a try.

How would you say it compared to Surluster or Souveran?

Souvran and surluster are identical in their performance except Surluster dusts more.

WBW to me is almost identical only it doesn't dust at all and my perception was a little wetter and deeper. Smelled good enough to eat:lol

You can keep your oceanfront property in Wisconsin buddy....probably where you have your grow-op.

I just picked up the Connaisseur Series from Worlds Best Wax at the Toronto car show and the guys card did say he was Frank. He personally guaranteed the results to me too and to the other people buying his product. If you think a "fly by nighter" would have a $300,000 Ferrari F430....think again. I've seen him at the show for a number of years and I don't see any issues on his website.

I used his stuff on Saturday and I love it. No oil residue, no white powder, no white on the trim. Most of the show manufacturers were using his Refresher too(Lexus, Benz, BMW, Volvo, Mazda....a Lambo exhibit too!). I walked an extra 20 minutes to search out his booth and buy the stuff.

it may be good stuff (as im sure it is) but none the less the web site for a while was kinda shady. I know frank is a realy guy, but alot of people order online, if the site dosent look great that will effect purchasing descions.

Also there are plenty of awsome waxes out there. I would give victoria wax a try, (you may be supprised). Give some other waxes a shot before deciding what us the best
