Most users here want to remove paint defects rather than hide them. That's not to say the product doesn't fill a need out there, and if it works OK for you that's great.

The best thing is to read up on what is popular here, what techniques are used to remove (and prevent) paint defects, and slowly (or quickly) try some of the other products and (more importantly) processes that will bring your finish to where you want it to be.

Eliot: If you read my first post I am well aware of what is popular here. I am a 1z guy and pc user. Please dont put words/thoughts in my mouth. I am aware of how to get rid of swirls and prevent them. I also have used many many more poducts then just der stuff. My question was just if anyone could tell me there experiances with this product. I was not asking for advice on general paint care. Thank you for the advice as it is good general advice for any newbie to paint care. I am a long time reader new to posting.

On another note. I just figured der stuff would buy me some time between doing a full 1zpp 1zmp day as it covers up minor swirls very well and very easily.

I think I remember seeing this stuff at the Orange County and/or LA County fairs when I lived out there. I remember seeing the "light my car on fire" demo and thought that was a strange way to prove a point. Plus, all the pictures on the website seem to be from around the 1980s. Orange County Sheriff's Dept stopped using those old cars in the early 1990s.

The only thing I could think of with the "light my car on fire" is to show that the product wont melt or change from the heat of california's sun. Something along those lines, LOL

Haha. That's one of the funniest posts I've ever read in a car detailing forum.

I try. On a serious note, I emailed and asked for some samples. I'll see if its worth buying this stuff. If I recieve some, I'll post a review.

I prefer the hottie in the red plastic coat and red pumps. Oh baby.

I used to use this stuff. It's what Adam of Adam's Polishes used to sell before he started his own label. Some of the products are different now though.

Somehow I don't think Jay Leno was holding anything having to do with this product line when that picture was taken. He's not an idiot when it comes to cars. What is he "holding" anyway? A block of styrofoam with a Photoshopped product label?

The way they play people for fools on their page really prevents me from having any interest whatsoever in their products. And I noticed that ALL of the testimonials have the same types of words in CAPS, almost like the SAME PERSON wrote all those testimonials.
