I agree. It's kindof like a quick detailer with 6 month's durability!

Rob Tomlin said:Ok, I have now tried UPGP (in addition to Opti-Seal and AJT).
I am extremely impressed with UPGP! I used it on my yellow Mazda Protege 5. It is better in pretty much every way (I can't comment on longevity/protection yet obviously).
Ease of use is simply spectacular. Easiest product that I have ever used, bar none. It applies much easier and more evenly than OS (and I always maintained that OS was easy to use)! It is easier to use than AJT as you don't have to buff after spraying. Just apply to the supplied pad and spread.
The looks are fantastic as well. Very, very wet and glossy, with good depth as well.
Also, the slickness is better than OS and much better than AJT.
At least for yellow, UPGP is now my favorite sealant.
I will try it on Silver next.

Danforz said:It will look good on silver, though I'd bet a wax would look better.
Bence said:UPGP is the most blingy initially, but as OOS cures, it closes up in appearance.

Rob Tomlin said:Completely disagree that UPGP "dulls" the look of the paint.

As I posted on another thread on UPGP, I am now keeping it in an air tight zip lock when not being used to see if that works.
A bottle seems to be good for about a year. After that it does give a kind of dull look and does not have the appearance of another layer of clearcoat.

Bence said:Yakky, that's how I perceive the UPGP too. It looks wonderful when viewed from flatter angles yet absolutely nothing special when the angle is close to 90 degrees. And water clings to it - I managed to open my trunk and 80% of the beads stay put.
My OOS though gives a consistent "it's there" look no matter what the angles are.
yakky said:Yep, that exactly what I'm seeing. I get the same with DWG or not. In fact I noticed it muted DWG after applying. I used OID on top and the bling was back. Maybe we have an older batch? Mine is dated from 08.

By hand, on my jet black, I find DWG looks kind of dull.
