I keep checking out the website but havent seen anything on it there or here for some time now. I really want to order this along with trim restorer, natural look, bold N bright, and some more MF towels.

Didn't want to leave you hanging. I'm also interested to find out when SSR 2.5 is coming. I looked for old threads re SSR2.5 and they all say still in testing. But a thread started by Steve on April 1st also mentioned a new product being tested that Steve used on the mirrors of a F250 or F350. Thought that might interest you since you'll be ordering some tire/trim/interior dressing.

I spoke with Steve a few days ago about this while I was asking some other questions. He sadi there would be a delay, and it will come out "in a few more weeks"

Hope that helps. I'm looking foward to the stuff also.

Richie

latest word is that SSR2.5 will be here by the end of next week...

we just received our sample case and most of it has already been sent out for more testing:)

sorry it's taken so long, but we want it right the first time:bigups

Any ETA on that new protectant or dressing that you were testing on that F250's mirrors last month?

no scent or color changes, but the Biodegrabale cleaner is going to be made into a more concentrated version:)

Sounds great Steve, the one thing I love about you and your products, no half way. You do it right, the first time, and thats why we love your products. Honestly, I have been using up products that I have so that I can replace them with your products that do the same tasks. I am a customer for life. I am sure SSR2.5 wont dissapoint.

Just a FYI. My girl has a black civic. ACK, attracts heat almost as bad as swirls. It needed DACP and a cut pad. However what I had to do was wash and clay and time it so when I was done it was just turning dusk. I then polished it all out with the DACP, woke up the next morning and inspected. Fortunately, it came out good. I then went to your SSR1 in the sun, VM, EX-P. She has never been so happy with her car. However SSR2.5 would really have made my life easy. I have too much of that stuff left, when 2.5 comes out DACP is probably going in the trash. As it is I got a customer with a black SRT-4 waiting on me to get the 2.5, I refuse to do it with DACP in the sun. However she has seen my work and doesnt want any other person to touch the car, so take your time and send me out a good product like you always do :cool

One last thing. On another site I frequent I did a huge detailing writeup. Not that I expect anything, I dont, but I just wanted to know I set up links to your products and pushed them heavily. Use in the sun ability was a big reason the guys over there liked them. Pictures are on the way up as I have done my EBP Si, girls black civic, friends Audi A4 silver, and a Red Benz CLK430 with your products.

Thanks, and keep those great products coming :cool

I'm looking forward to the new products :bigups What's the situation on the car wash? :dunno

I'll be getting more samples soon for testing...me and my immediate tester(awd330:)) are very picky and it has to get past us to get to anyone else:dunno

Haven't been on in a few weeks, as business has been doing well. I can say that the 2nd version of SSR2.5 was better than my first.....and I really liked the first one too. I believe it contained less physical abrasives, but seemed to do the job better. Kinda hard to explain, but it is definitely a kick above DACP.

The Purple one contained more abrasives, and depending on the prep before hand, could be a better choice. The pink one had less abrasives, but left a better shine in the end.

It would be nice to test, for a quickness factor, to see if one could follow up SSR2.5 with Polish w/Carnuba on a lighter colored car? Might just cut out a step?

I've tried that process, and it works very well. SSR2.5 breaks down and polishes so well that you may be tempted to cut out the normal intermediate step (SSR2 or SSR1). I've successfully gone from SSR2.5 directly to PwC as well as VM on light colored cars. DACP seems to always need the intermediate step.

....theory proved! :lmfao

awd330,

Not necessarily. I was able to go straight from SSR2.5 to VM on a burgundy colored car. I think there will be many instances where you will be able to skip the intermediate step. It will probably depend on the overall condition of the paint, the abrasiveness of the pad used, as well as the hardness of the paint.

I didn't want to say before Marj stepped in (since you asked her), but you COULD probably go like that on a dark car, but I bet you $$ that you'll get more out of it spending the time doing SSR1 before EX or Natty's....
