I've tried that process, and it works very well. SSR2.5 breaks down and polishes so well that you may be tempted to cut out the normal intermediate step (SSR2 or SSR1). I've successfully gone from SSR2.5 directly to PwC as well as VM on light colored cars. DACP seems to always need the intermediate step.Nickc0844 said:It would be nice to test, for a quickness factor, to see if one could follow up SSR2.5 with Polish w/Carnuba on a lighter colored car? Might just cut out a step?

Not necessarily. I was able to go straight from SSR2.5 to VM on a burgundy colored car. I think there will be many instances where you will be able to skip the intermediate step. It will probably depend on the overall condition of the paint, the abrasiveness of the pad used, as well as the hardness of the paint.jstn said:awd330,
so basically an extra step will still be needed on darker color cars?
i cant wait until this stuff comes out![]()
