RTexasF said:^ Great thought but G35 is mobile, you're not so it doesn't apply here.
ShineShop said:It really makes no difference whether you are mobile or not. I refuse to work with someone looking over my shoulder the whole time distracting me from doing my job. Having a peek now and then is fine to see how things are coming but lording over you and doing what this guy was doing is BS and I wouldn't have put up with it.
G35stilez said:I agree with you.
How would *you* approach someone who was hovering over my work even if it was at their location? TIA.
ShineShop said:I would just explain that in order to do my best work I need to concentrate on what I am doing and that isn't possible with someone "interfering" (for lack of a better or more appropriate word). I would tell them that it's okay to check up occassionally but not stand and watch because it's too distracting. That being said I have had a couple of customers that I have allowed to sit and chat while I worked because I had extra time and they were just really cool people - very rare though. Coincidentally, what kind of car was this that you were working on?

Surfer said:Just curious but what type of car was this? I'm seriously going to laugh if it was a Civic or something lol. I would have told them toshove it, but then again I don't detail except our own cars so I understand why you would have kept at it ($$).

Thanks for the help everyone.
