Had a chance to drive it on the KDW's some more? Any further opinion on noise?
Noticed you mentioned Dynamat... I've been researching some audio gear for my car lately as well. You should check out RAAMmat BXT and Damplifier (www.raamaudio.com and www.secondskinaudio.com respectively). They are both quite a bit more cost effective than Dynamat Xtreme. For an unbiased and home-brew review, check out www.sounddeadenershowdown.com. Some good info there.

The KDW2's are fantastic tires. They really helped control the noise and the ride has also gotten better. Most people have said the ride would be like crap with the 20's but i can tell you without a doubt they are full of it. The car rides so much better than with the stock tires i was really astonished. As for the sound deadening. I am actually going to be using Rattle Trap which is the thicker version of Fatmat. I did the entire truck with the Fatmat and it worked great. So i figured the Rattle Trap would be better for the Mustang since it is twice as thick. The tires did in fact help with overall road noise and improved the ride. I cannot wait to get the car lowered and install the Tokico D-Spec Shocks and Struts which will allow us to tune the ride exactly to our liking.
