Wheels and Tires On 06 Mustang

Noticed you mentioned Dynamat... I've been researching some audio gear for my car lately as well. You should check out RAAMmat BXT and Damplifier (www.raamaudio.com and www.secondskinaudio.com respectively). They are both quite a bit more cost effective than Dynamat Xtreme. The KDW2's are fantastic tires. They really helped control the noise and the ride has also gotten better. Most people have said the ride would be like crap with the 20's but i can tell you without a doubt they are full of it. The car rides so much better than with the stock tires i was really astonished. As for the sound deadening. I am actually going to be using Rattle Trap which is the thicker version of Fatmat. I did the entire truck with the Fatmat and it worked great. So i figured the Rattle Trap would be better for the Mustang since it is twice as thick. The tires did in fact help with overall road noise and improved the ride. I cannot wait to get the car lowered and install the Tokico D-Spec Shocks and Struts which will allow us to tune the ride exactly to our liking.

That is a sweet color. I think alot of the complaints from the KDW's is after they start getting cupped on the edges. This is especially prevalent on tires that can't be rotated due to different sizes front and rear.
 
Nice looking wheels, but I'm not a big fan of chrome. They do look tasteful though. You're right, it does need to be lowered, but then again, all Mustangs need to be lowered. As long as the wife is happy, that's all that matters.
 
the rims looks alright, but the car looks good! 20"s are okay to put on an 06 mustang but i think that another set of 20s would look nicer, but hey its you wifes car, we dont have any say in it lol


PS:you can't beat some of megs tire product!
