What's *your* favorite thing on silver?

i'm not sure what he used, but it sounded like NXT.

For years I've been using basic stuff like #6 and (recently) NXT on a silver civic. H/E I've purchased a PC, MF's and LC pads and in true autopian form will be comparing the results of AIO + SGx2 + P21S vs. VM + EX-Px2 + P21S, over the next several months.

As you can see almost anything will make silver look great. It's all in the prep.

With that stated I used WG combo topped with PB EX-P, wash with 1Z Perls and QD while wet with WAUD. Looks great still beads like crazy and always looks good. Even when dirty.



Silver metallic: Best color (IMHO) for a daily driver worst (IMHO) color for that extreme "nail polish-like" deep wet color-rich "POP".

So true Bob, that is why this hobby/vocation is so interesting, rewarding and sometimes extremely frustating.

The fact that silver and colors of similiar characteristic are compatible with soooo many combos is a compliment to this color. What's the point having a color that only looks great only right after a detail and held hostage to environmental conditions.:nixweiss

I've got VM and EXP on my vehicle right now and it sure looks wet.

I like EX on my metallic silver. I'm going to try VM and EXP combo next.

I can only wish that was my M3. I have an Accord and a 626. I'm a year out from helping my oldest with college. Toys will have to wait.
