New for 2005 .. hmmm how about that new stuff .. imported from Japan?

It has a crystal-like structure, like a hundreds of tiny diamonds, suspended in a new super fluro-radon monopolymer derived from yaks milk proteins and sharks spit. It gives an incredible carnuba like shine, which will last until the next year of the dragon (or 2 weeks depending on conditions). :lol

Good one!

I also find NXT over-rated.

My predictions:

1. I think 2005 will bring new towel technology for one. I think mixing technical and natural fibers will happen and perhaps new weaving techniques will create more softness and fineness in fibers.

2. Some detail board will hype a new product :) and everyone will try it then revert back to what they used before.

3. Carnauba technology will improve as will sealants, although formulas will change to meet VOC laws.

4. Autopians will buy more product than they actually need. I will buy more product than Atlanta needs.

5. Classic products like Sonus, Pinnacle, P21S and Zaino will continue to gain reputation.

I will be in Atlanta next week on buesiness lets meet!

Well Alpharetta actually.

Personally I found wolfgang tire gel and dgps to be superb, the sealant however I prefer to use as a final coat(s) after something stronger like klasse sg - 4 star - Omikron Bodyseal & Bodyguard - PB EX-P - Pacer Amazing Glaze or the PPG paints stuff I have.

VOC regulations - must have missed that one - california again?

A few polishes in my collection are totally VOC free. Dinitrol 7020 wet look polish and autoglym 01B.

In 05 or soon after I would like to see kevlar and ceramic based paint sealants, spray fast waxes that last longer and give same shine as a paste carnauba and a better range of tire dressings including gels and the end of alcohol based ones.

The fast waxes I have sampled have hydrocarbons in them and thus cannot be used on top of the sealant package on my car.

At the retail level, it is. More than a few fans here too.

Count me among one of those fans of NXT. When used properly I find that it displays outstanding shine and reflection. It has earned a permanent place on my product shelf.

My wish and prediction list for 2005

1) Somebody finally make a wax / sealant that can really make Silver and white pop.

2) Zaino finally make a swirl mark remover that actually work. Maybe they will start creating compound also.

3) All autopians will stop using Chamois and use only Microfibers :)

The newest "hot business" will be "oldness." The love affair with old school LSP's will be reignited among those not yet smitten.

I'm keeping my #16 and Blitz Wax!!! Simple products that give excellent results...'nuff said. The test of time will prove the best products. Just because something is "new and innovative" doesn't mean it is necessarily better.

...and all this shameless hyping of products? Well, the good ones don't even need it!

:xyxthumbs
