~One mans opinion / observations~
A product will be formulated that will provide the durability of a Polymer, the depth of shine of a Carnauba wax, the deep gloss of an oil enriched Glaze, a product that contains no cleaners so you could apply 30+ layers
We’ll all forget about the 95% preparation, 5% product criteria and rush out to obtain a sample of this miracle product that’s on all the detailing forums with loads of before and after photos (inc reflection shots) and end up finding it on e-bay for $500 for a 6oz bottle.
Then reality will set in and the few with well-prepped paint will support the claims made for it, while the rest of us will bemoan its lack of durability/ shine etc compared to wax/sealant X that we’ve always used

Seriously, the next big thing might be ultra, ultra hard, scratch resistant clear coat (a revised version of ceramic clear 2003) formulated by BASF / M-B and a end user polish (guessing Menzerna as they’ve already done the ground work on Ceramic Clear 2004), this ultra hard clear coat will be applied as OEM to all new vehicles.

Yes, Menzerna has Ceramiclear specific polishes but so does Automotive International/Valugard :Cerious Polish

I was told Meguiars has polish already specifically for Ceramiclear. So far, no proof of that claim. Anyone in the know care to comment on that?

BASF / MB made an ultra, ultra hard Ceramic clear coat before PPGs version (so hard that Menzerna could not formulate a polish for the end user that would abrade the surface, they did succeed with a polish to correct the finish straight from the drying ovens but once the paint cooled down…/)

Cerious Compound - Specifically formulated for the new "NANO" clear coats being introduced on higher line vehicles such as Mercedes Benz, BMW, etc. Product works on all present and past [high solid urethane clears] when the correct pads & rotary buffer speeds are utilized.
I’m no ‘paint guy’ but is high solid urethane clear the same as (nano-technology) ceramic clear?
