What vehicle are you thinkng about buying and why?

lbls1- Yeah, the TBSS is mighty appealing! If I were redoing the dog-hauler purchase right now I'd probably get that instead of the Denali XL (now that we only have two dogs, the TBSS was too small when we had three).

Hey Accumulator! Yup I've got the new car bug again. Seems to happen on the seventh year like clockworks!!! I like the tb also bc of its size. It can be a truck when you need it to be, yet its snug enough in size to be car like during most of the time. Cool....and good luck on your next one!

SAmIam- Yeah, your 200TQ and my Quantum wagon...we never shoulda sold those.

Heh heh, sounds like your wife likes the Benz :D Accumulatorette always enjoys my cop car projects, but she probably won't appreciate a Crown Vic until I find it another 100hp or so.

Seven *YEARS*?!? Well, I was gonna quip that I'm more like seven *months* but the truth is that I guess I don't really replace vehicles all that often any more, I just buy additional ones. I'm telling myself that the Crown Vic will pretty well round out the accumulation (famous last words). It'll kinda be a replacement for the Beater-Blazer I sold this spring.

Are you gonna get rid of something if you get a TBSS?

And, heh heh, you gonna use that Vintaaaage on a TBSS?!? Talk about a part-time job :rofl

Well actually I should get rid of something.....but everything is staying. Talk about a good job convincing the loved ones on how ONE person needs 3 vehicles!!!!! Lol!!! It started out with my anger with my beater DD and the "check engine" light. I was gonna dump it, but I remembered my little "new car credo" that if I replaced it I'd have to live with whatever I chose for awhile. So, somehow I resolved the issue with the dd, and I decided to get something I really liked while going thru the pains of buying. The signature car wasn't even in this equation.

One day I hope to grow up like you and have a big fat wallet and a big fat garage!!!!!

Ya I suppose I'll take a vacation when it comes and put some Vintaaaaaaaaghhhe on it lol!!!!

I currently have a 96 Honda Civic with 138k on the chassis. The Civic is my daily driver. I am thinking of getting an S2000 within a year if everything falls into place as a "weekend car".

1- I am a single guy with no kids so a 2 door roadster is fine with me.

2- It's a Honda so reliability is something i'm not too worried about.

3- You can get them for a good price (used) with low mileage in great to mint condition!

4- It is a 4 cylinder and gets good gas mileage for the performance you get.

5- Value - Honda/Acura's tend to hold their value really well.

6- Maintenance/parts prices are good for me because I have a friend who works in the parts department at Honda and also a friend that works at Honda. :)

7- Big aftermarket support. You can find/buy just about anything for the car if you want to got that route.
