What products do you regret buying?

Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo - ridiculously overpriced and performance is nothing special.

Black Wow - Not user friendly, needs 38 coats.

Prima Nourish - too much sheen

PCxp- weak, vibrates a lot!

A whole lot more...

Keep going Mark! I love your honesty !Glad you made it here too!
Im even more interested in what products you do like!:D

My most recent regret is Opti Bond Tire Gel.

It was applied on Friday, two coats, 1 hour apart and buffed after 30 minutes. The car didn't leave the garage until Tuesday. A rain shower on the way to work caused it to streak. I now have striped tires.

Mark. 90%? Please save us the agony and post them.

There may not be enough hard drive space on the server. He's a prolific buyer.

So, Mark, what are you doing with all that stuff that doesn't trip your trigger? MOL's For Sale section? Swaps? Building a warehouse in the back yard?

I regret buying my Little Green Clean Machine--totally worthless, zero performance, only the vac seems to work, this was years ago-I should've just gotten a refund

Shockingly, my Cyclo--if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't haven't bought it, but at the time, it was supposed to be the bridge between the PC and rotary, still heirloom quality built to this machine!

Detailing products-- DP glass cleaner--I tried a gallon's worth over a few years, never lived up to its claims

surgical huck towels-- there's still smears on glass after using them, they're okay, not great

Souveran--not worth the cost, but also bought Fuzion too- I'm still kinda more satisfied with that, but I doubt I'd buy either again

Leather Master Super Cleaner/Remover-- its TOO strong!!

Lexol--save it for your furniture. Its does okay on wood frames of furniture too

English Custom Metal Polishes- so so at best, costly, evaporate quickly!

That's all I can think of for now. Disappointment here and there comes with this hobby so no big deal or anything.

Finish Kare, Decontamination kit...lots of work for results that I see just as good with clay.

Back to Black (Mothers OTC) oily product that takes many applications and still doesn't work well.

Megs, deep crystal paint cleaner, weak at best.

Disappointment here and there comes with this hobby so no big deal or anything.

That's true about anything that has a lot of convincing hype. Some vendors work harder at selling a product than they do at perfecting it. :(

A product that streaks or runs in the rain is totally unacceptable to me !

303 on my exterior trim did this to me (streaked and ran)just from morning dew( although it may be ok for interiors I was unimpressed ):scared:

Its a big deal to me because I do detailing professionally. It really looks unprofessional to have a product screw up on you when using it on a job.

I find this one to be interesting, Bill. I agree it's nothing like a Mytee, but for $80 it does the job just fine IMO. I've been using it the last 5+ years without issue. I even did an article recently which mentions it...

Simple Yet Effective Interior Cleaning

I'm practically certain mine was/is simply a defective model. That one dud in every few thousand I guess. It was foolish of me to not take it back. This was several years ago.

I had one for years until the vacuum unit gave out. I would buy another one in a minute if I thought there was a need.

Funny, the vac part of mine still works, the heater was always intermittent and the sprayer never worked properly. I can still use it. These days its for the once in a blue stain on a carpet in the house.

Gotcha. ;)

The flexible hose on my cracked recently near the handle so I'll have to do a quick fix on that, otherwise I've had great luck and a lot of use out of it between detailing and cat/dog stains in the house. :)

my Flex 3401 had it for almost a year now and used it maby 4times..My Griots does everything I need..Now I plan on getting rid of the flex.
