what product has far exceeded your expectations?

Presta/edge 2000 pad system - Very balanced system and pads are great quality



ZAIO - A very nice one step that works great. Melts right into the paint and leaves an awesome glow.



Z6 - I have used a lot of detail sprays , but z6 is strong and it works amazing. It gets old wax. compound out of jambs and cracks. It even cleans rubber and plastic trim like new. Does not streak and works amazing and I will keep plenty of this in stock. I know it sounds funny, but this stuff really works perfect. A must have!



ZPC- used as a finish polish on a pc it does an amazing job at leaving a perfect bright gloss. I love it.



106ff- On rotory it is the best finish polish on most colors if worked in correctly with a little time



Z8- awesome gloss and protection booster. Works perfect on paint and gives it that deep wet gloss shell. I am more impress at what it does to moldings and trim and door jambs. Leaves everything glossy and well protected with no oils. Love the way it repells water. Love this stuff! Plays well with other products too.



Z5- Love the ease of use, no residue, and that nice thick hard glow that lasts for a long time.



Presta swirl remover- love the gloss that it produces with wool and get the surface ready for my finish polish.

They just seem to work really well, hold a lot of the wash solution, don't leave any marring, and with a dab of Dawn they clean up like new when finished.



I resisted using them until a member was selling some at a very good price so I picked up a couple and the first time I used one, after cleaning and rinsing it, was with an ONR wash.

Shmitt, Cobra Guzzler, Grit-Guard, Duragloss 901, Poorboy's Super Slick & Suds, Cobra Deluxe and Deluxe Jr., Micro-Restore, 5 gal buckets, DP Gel Wheel Cleaner, Stoner's Invisible Glass, foam wax applicators, measuring cup (for soap solution), and the list will keep growing :)
 
I'll say 425, Prime Strong, PO106FF, RMG, and Pakshak's Ultra-Soft waffle weave. Although I expected them to be good, I was even more impressed after having actually used them.
 
Johnson & Johnson's Simoniz paste wax.



Inexpensive, very durable and is readily available in most supermarkets.



Also, Future floor wax works well both on tires and interior trim and usually is available in supermarkets as well.

Is it 1960 again ? Johnson Wax and Simonize Wax were two different waxes.
 
Sorry...have to say that I was just kidding, am fairly new to detailing and coming across the plethora of polishes available today made me briefly yearn for the old household stand-bys.



Kidding aside, Klasse AIO and SG have worked wonders on my 1984 Lincoln with its original paint. The durability over the winter was amazing (car was regulated to outdoor storage) and still remained glossy and slick without any touchup.
 
Well, i hate to sound like a broken record. and i still can't understand why i'm one of the few who see the same thing. But i honestly can say that long haul detailer is the only product i've ever bought that exceeded my expectations to huge a degree. I've found other things that have met or maybe slightly exceeded them. But this is nuts. After about a week my car still looks like someone covered it in liquid plastic 5 minutes ago. and the dust isn't sticking to it like it usually does after just 2 or 3 days. I can damn near blow it off. No other detailer i've used really lasted more than maybe 2-3 days, and even then the look wasn't really much different than had i just wiped it down with water. Not to mention the dust repelling factor.



But i'm absolutely dumbfounded as to why no one else sees this. granted, i'm no detailing expert. But the point is even an untrained eye could see this as easily as a freight train coming at them ! The difference between this and the next best QD i've used is to my eye literally 5 times easier to see that the difference between any other waxs or detailers i've ever used. Maybe it's my paint color? (honda accord "graphite") Whatever it is, i'm going out and buying all i can find before it's gone ! It's truly the first time in my 40 years of vehicle ownership i have ever been floored by a paint care product. It's also the cheapest paint care product i've ever bought. So much for the old saying "you get what you pay for" !!!
 
I just tried something today for the first time that impressed me so far. DG Non Silicone Dressing, on interior vinyl. I haven't tried a huge number of interior dressings, but have used several over the years, and this is the first in my experience that doesn't leave my steering wheel "uncomfortable" - slickery or whatever. I really hate that. Looks exactly the way I want too, although may reflect a bit too much, need to give it a few days to tell. Odd, it seems to reflect more than you would expect from the natural look.

Ardex's Pearl polish. and there Hydro Gloss. I have taken dead flat single stage paint and

made it look new again with the Pearl. There Repo wash works great as well.
