what product has far exceeded your expectations?

Protectall Do It All..........I use it after every wash, while drying my personal cars....It easily passes the durability period between washes, and is a breeze to use.....Not to mention you can use it EVERYWHERE. Great for RV's as well.........

For this week. DG 601. What a great number of those will sell once people discover what it can do besides being a base for sealants. I'm buying a gallon direct from Mr Bailey.

For me, it has to be Clearkote's Vanilla Moose Glaze. Every time I use it, it just amazes me the finish it leaves on almost any surface.

Agreed. I've been using VM for a long time now and I'm still blown away by the results I get off of any car I use it on.

Agreed. VM is a very nice product.

while i love a few boutique brands, this forum is obsessed with exactly that, boutique. I've been reading on here for over a two year period and have picked up some great, tips, product recommendations & this is the best forum of any forum I've ever been on. I've been detailing for over 12 years so I feel I've had my share of experience with many products.

Non boutique I loved so far:

-Color X : One if not the best OTC cleaners

-Megs 26 liquid: rivals many boutique lsp's

-Mothers Chrome polish: does what it says

-Vroom Microfibers: excellent for everthing

-Duragloss Aqua Wax: very nice durable lsp for a quick job

-Mothers Power Polish: Not bad for a polish

Boutique:

-Klasse All in One: Great for everything, easy to use

-Collinite 845 IW: Long lasting good looking lsp

-Menzerna IP and FPII: my go to polishes

-Optimum OP and OC: User friendly PC polishes good finish

-KSG: excellent sealant

Lately I've been using a lot of OTC products and the Duragloss line as I've had great luck with those mentioned above. I think when you find what works for you stick with it. Its too easy to wanna try something thats all the rave. It changes here all the time whats popular. I'm all for finding and using products that make detailing easier, more effective and yielding top notch results but you don't have to spend your life savings to find a great combo.

Well Clearkote's all finished in my shop, been made redundant by a french product range

Autoglym glass polish and autoglym SPR, zymol h-d cleanes, armor tire foam, zymol auto bath shampoo, meguiars colorx , farecla top glaze .

I have to include one of my latest faves into this list:

Turtle Wax Gloss Guard

It's a fantastic looking top coat product with exceptional durability. Regular users from the UK reported comfy 6-8 months on outside 24/7 vehicles and 18 months on garaged ones. I acquired my bottle just recently, but I must say that looks-wise it is highly impressive. It is a thin, watery liquid, so you have to apply it similarly to the original 1Z Glanz, and it is ridiculously easy to remove - even when you leave the haze on the finish for two full days.

interesting bence, i just googled it and found that many have had good long lasting results. haven't seen it over here in the states yet...

Menzerna polishes p106ff and p085rd, ZPC and 3m PI III Compound.

Zaino, just about every product he sells is top notch.

And for glaze and wax I would say CG EX Creme Glaze and Pinnacle Souveran.

Leatherique.

Stoners Invisible Glass.

Spray Nine.

Black Fire SRC Finishing Polish... woooo this stuff is better then the previous 2 polishes I'd used.

Z9/Z10... I'm in love with these two products. I'm addicted to the smell!

kAIO... Slap that stuff on an older car and it comes back to life!

I used spray nine to degrease the outside of a white conversion van that was in the woods that had algae all over it. Spray Nine ate the grime up and made the white paint glisten. I was shocked at how well it worked and with no streaking at all.
