You know I was thinking of posting this exact same thread!!
Personally I wear steel toed and water proof Herman Survivor boots (ankle height). I sweat like mad in them during the spring and summer months (thank God for odor eaters
) but they keep my feet dry and warm during the winter. I need the steel toe as I sometimes need a "hammer" when hooking/unhooking my detail trailer. I usually will go through 3 pairs in a year...I wear out the left side of my left boot from tucking it under me when squating.
