what kind of shoes do you pro's wear.

You know I was thinking of posting this exact same thread!!

Personally I wear steel toed and water proof Herman Survivor boots (ankle height). I sweat like mad in them during the spring and summer months (thank God for odor eaters :o ) but they keep my feet dry and warm during the winter. I need the steel toe as I sometimes need a "hammer" when hooking/unhooking my detail trailer. I usually will go through 3 pairs in a year...I wear out the left side of my left boot from tucking it under me when squating.

INTER 486 ......new balance IS THE SNEAKER I have a pair for detailing working running going out can't beat that confort!

I do what Scottwax does. I "recycle" my footwear when I get a new pair. The "worst of the lot" gets relegated to lawnmowing/yardwork duty, the former "good pair" gets worn for detailing.

When the weather starts turning colder, I have an insulated pair of waterproof hiking boots that I wear.
