So.. I dont know if its another horror story as I have yet to really see the car in full lighting. But I just picked up my black saab wagon from the shop after a rear end collision. Today I see the damage the shop has done to my car... Am I being too picky? but what can be expected from a shop? There is orange peel all over the new trunk and rear bumper... Second there is paint in between the plastic trim and the bumper.. Also they did a touch up job on a door panel from a previous run in with a bush.. Looks like they used nail polish not that bad but it was laid on with a small brush.. The paint is bubbling.. like they didnt wet sand it down etc. I wish I had my camera so I could take some pictures.
Questions:
Am I being too picky?
How much Orange peel is acceptable?
Is it right to have paint connecting trim to fender?
And paint bubbling? WHAT!
What do I do?
I will try to get a camera to give a better idea. But what do I do now? There apparently a good shop (so i was told)... And deal in some nice cars but come on... It was all insurance that covered it but what now? Is it my responsibility?
