Alright, it got up to about 55 degrees yesterday and I had a chance to wash my car by hand instead of the auto car wash. I rinsed the car without the nozzle and I noticed my roof wasn't beading or sheating water. WTF? The rest of the car was sheating water. I currently had an application of AIO two months ago topped of by PS. Now on the first of this month I had a chance to apply another coat of PS. Between then and now, I probably have four application of Pinnacle QD, maybe more. What happened to the roof??
Dried the car and decided to apply PS on it. The paint felt as if it was very dry. WTF?? (I don't know if I can explain how it was) Each pass over a new portion of the paint felt as if I'm removing a dry layer of paint. I had to put more PS on the pad than I normally would. I wanted to make sure that the pad was lubricated enough so it doesn't do anything to the paint. This is the first time that I've experienced this detailing. I didn't even get this when I detailed a 99 Sentra that never been waxed before. Since the light was minimal, I couldn't see very well the final out come. From what I could see the paint came out great as usual. This occurance just got me a little worried. Could it be that the PS than I've applied has been stripped of by the auto car wash? I hope someone out there knows what I'm trying to explain and could shed some light into this. Thanks.:nixweiss
