What do you DRY your vehicles with?

I dry with a "drying aid" specifically to reduce the chances of marring - not sure I`ve ever even thought it had a positive impact on the actual drying. I may consider other benefits to using some sort of "drying aid" such as added shine or extra protection.

That`s how I was...only concerned with maybe reducing the chance of marring. Then after a few washes with IUDJ as my Drying Aid I noticed that !GEE! looks better! And it`s not like there was any deficiency before ;) So I started using OCW as the Drying Aid on my wife`s car, and that looks better too.

You guys who can get by with just DI-Rinsing kill me, seriously...yeah, I`m really envious! I can get by with that on the Tahoe in the dead of Winter, but my vehicles just aren`t right for that when I want them to actually turn out OK.

I call it WAWA. Wash And Walk Away. You can see I just washed it in this picture.

ProStreetCamaro- heh heh, what...you rubbing it in, how I can`t get decent results while you guys can?!!?

Just teasin`.....but seriously, when I do it that way I get waterspots to some extent in various places (especially under the hood and places like that) from the NON-DI water that I use prior to the DI-rinse; I never seem to get it all out. Eh, could be just my vehicles or something like that, but I`m still envious. The drying takes me *forever* even when I don`t get the undercarriage 100% dry.

The Wooley`s arrived. I won`t get a chance to wash a car for a bit because of hand surgery but there is a difference. The PFM on the right side is a "loop" pile vs the "cut" pile of the Wooley. Not telling which one sucks better until I get them wet.

Winner in my book is the PFM`s. I have two of each but given a choice to grab one I`ll go for the PFM. The Wooley is no slouch but I`ll pay the extra money for the Griot`s towel.

I`m a little late to this thread and I`ve been more of a lurker than a participant the last few years, but always come back here when I`m looking for what`s new or a product review.

A few months back I saw some new contenders in the drying towel area and ordered three new ones to try out. From the Rag Company I got a couple of the Dry Me a River and the Edgeless Avalanche, and I also ordered a couple of the Dry Me Crazy`s from Microfiber Madness.

Of those three the one I like the best, the Edgeless Avalanche, was the one I had the least expectations for. I don`t know why, but I just like the way it feels and drys, plus it is light and easy to handle. I just ordered some glass towels and general purpose MF`s from the Rag Company and threw a couple of their new Pluffles in my order.

I`m just curious how the PFM compares to the Dry Me Crazy`s from Microfiber Madness (if anyone has used both)?

I still have a lot of the ultra soft blue WW`s that I stocked up on when Excel (Patrick) was selling them a few years back, and they are still my preferred drying towel, although these plush towels are starting to get my attention.
