What do you DRY your vehicles with?

I blow most of the water off with the AirWand and then dry with Plush MF Drying Towels from MF Madness (forget the cutesy name...). Their WWMF ia unique compared to others I`ve used, and that works well too, though I only use mine for the outside glass.

But yeah, I`ll buy the GG PFM next time I replace them, unless something else that`s all that has come along by then.

Griots is my fav, but ill use any number of waffles I have, they were ok before, they are still ok.

Beach towels for the roof, hood, trunk.

I use my belly for the doors and my jean shorts for the front and back bumper.

I also do this all at once to save time and dry faster.

I got a pretty good mental image of that. Like a truffle shuffle while dragging a beach towel on roof of car.

A combination of waffle weaves and some super thick Korean microfibers I picked up ages ago on eBay in concert with Chemical Guys After Wash drying aid. I`m glad to hear about the Master Blasters and people not using them. I always thought they would be a pain to drag around and put up just to dry one car.

Your right, I go over with a mf towel. Water Sprite just gets most of the water off, the mf towel gets the rest.

My go-to is similar to a lot of you guys:

1. Master Blaster on wheels (plus wall mount for storage) and 30` hose - a beast, and overkill in many cases

2. Sidekick with a 6` hose so I can hold it in one hand and direct the air with the other, keeping the device further away from the vehicle. I can dry a full size SUV with this if it has a good LSP on it no problem

3. For any tough spots that keep weeping despite the air, or a car w/weak or no LSP/hydrophobic action left, I highly prefer the Microfiber Madness Dry Me Crazy. They are super durable and I use them in production. I prefer the middle sized one.

Used to use a variety of waffle weave towels. Recently purchased a couple of the Griots PFM towels. They really are magical. This is one of the very few products that lives up to all the hype surrounding it. These are solid constructed, well made towels, that with the proper care should last me a long time. They are not inexpensive towels, but I feel are worth every penny.

Does anyone use the silicone blade??

I quit over the chance of something abrasive getting stuck between the blade and the paint and then causing marring.

Plus, the blades are generally used with long, sweeping motions, which I consider inappropriate for use on paint under *all* circumstances.

Yeah, I know...we`re supposed to get *all* the dirt off during the wash and *no abrasive contamination* at all ought be there to get caught between the blade and the paint...but IME such stuff can happen to anybody, and once is too often for me.

David Fermani and I debated this topic on another thread just a little while ago, and I have used my California Water Blade on the Tahoe`s glass a few times since then, but !oh man! would I hate to get a(nother) scratch even on that thing`s glass.

Wanted to add.. I also flood rinse before I use a wax as u dry product with the WW. Flood rinse removes 75%-80% of the water.
