What did you do detailing wise today?

Rinseless wash.
Blacklight and V07 on hood (it's only part of my car that's been corrected)
corrected a small panel (C Pillar) and waxed with Blacklight and V07.
Butterwax the same panel on the other side (that one isn't corrected yet)

Wash & waxed a 2012 Lexus IS250 AWD. Very clean car to start. Some tar removal. Used Blackfire Midnight Sun on it. Really glows nice

Gave the garage queen a 2 bucket wash and followed that up with a wipe down using Meguiar's M135.

Still not sure if beginning detailing was a blessing or a curse. A little OCD again. Everytime I stepped on the tee box all I could focus on were the swirls and etchings haha. I really need to get a guzzler just for my clubs to carry on my bag.

HD Adapt
4" B&S Blue Pad
Blackfire Blackice

After driving on a dirt road last night my 1999 Land Rover Discovery 2 needs to be washed, I am also going to clean the underside as well. After that I'm going to take off the muffler so she can breathe a little better. :rockon

Hey Jesse, after living off dirt roads for the past four years, I am REALLY ready for a change!

This is the ONLY place where I can wash my car without having to stand in mud…. and as you can see, it still happens

Hopefully if everything goes right, the misses and I will be selling this place and re-locating to Washington state and will most definitely have a road, and a cement driveway, and a friggin garage.

ahhhh, the little things. lol

There are some guys that have set up a quick car wash. They just put down a giant blue tarp and wash the vehicle on the tarp.

too windy on this side of fl to do anything outside

and now too COLD

High of 43° very windy gusts to 35mph.
Couldn't resist trying the D114 I recently received. I experienced all the praiseworthy attributes I've read about. Many people noted how it doesn't stain wash media. I was surprised to see my already stained grout sponge end up unstained by the time I finished. I used Duragloss 521 as a drying aid and couldn't be happier with the results.

WOW. 50+ in PA today. Escape and Xterra got washes. Bonus weather.....

The DP PAINT COAT still holding strong like the day it was applied. (Been a little over 3 months).

Right in the middle of polishing my hood my GG6 broke, so today I hand polished then finally "gave up" and used Black Hole. :)

DO NOT EVER take a paved driveway or garage for granted. Our current rental has a big cement driveway ( you could park up to 4 cars) and decent garage. PERFECT for my detailing. But we are probably out of here in the spring. After looking at several other rentals (houses) when did a decent driveway and garage become a luxury? Either no or puny driveway or a patch of crap. UNREAL. Spolied i guess. :D
