What did you do detailing wise today?

4 hours on Murano wheels Sunday morning. Front wheels got CQuartz UK and rears got Collinite 845. Rears I did different just to test the durability then will be coated later.

Also 14 hours on the Murano yesterday. Washed, polished, erased and coated with CQuartz UK. All prep work, IronX and clay, was done last week but also re did the hood yesterday since that gets hit the most. Didn't finish until about 9:30pm so hit the car with Reload this morning.

Did my truck after too many weeks of it being dirty. Did a regular wash on the wheels, then did a rinseless wash on the body. And of course it rained a few hours later!!!

Finished up final details on this thing yesterday then delivered it after detail and OCP.

That is a classic big car ...lots of sheet metal. Looks very nice. I had been watching reruns of Hawaii 5-0 (the original version) and talk about a 70's Ford showcase: LTD, Elite, etc.

Washed the Murano last night. This was the first wash after waiting the recommended 7 days after applying CQUK and the sheeting was awesome. Washed with CarPro Reset. Wasn't as sudsy as I was expecting but plenty slick. Still have to do the windows.

Washed my daily driver today. Needs more protection but I have to save my energy for 36 holes of golf tomorrow.

Washed a bucket full of foam and MF pads from the 2 cars I did last weekend. Letting them soak for a while (ok a week this time!) is a big help in getting the stuff out of them.

I coated the wheels on my Abarth, washed my daily driver and, and, well, this may not be detailing, but I installed flourescent lights in my garage...

Washed (Pinnacle XMT Shampoo and Conditioner), Clayed (Pinnacle Poly Clay) and Waxed (Dodo Juice Blue Velvet Pro) the new daily driver.

I went from slide to glide ;) a.k.a. I tried UIGP for the first time so far I'm loving it just need to figure out how I want to get it into the tight areas. Also tried out hydro2 and PERL for the first time today as well. Hydro2 seems impressive so far we will see can't beat it for ease of application.

PERL I'm a little lost with I think I sprayed it too heavy, and I hate having to deal with the overspray it looks good in the end. But if it doesn't prove to be much better than adams svrt I may just go back to it because it seemed easier.

Then I washed the MILS Murano and used the PERL again.

Wash, Dry, Spray with Prima Hydro MAX Super Spray Polymer for the car. Tomorrow think I will wash the truck. By the time I made it all the way around the car Pollen had already landed. I hate black I will never do it again LOL said that last time too.
