What did you do detailing wise today?

Cleaned the front and rear glass of dad`s car and this is what was on my applicator from the rear glass.

Also cleaned up his carpets with the driver side carpet being the dirtiest. Optimum Fabric Cleaner & Protectant is good stuff.

Took a nice afternoon drive to the new CG store in Sarasota to pick up some supplies. For those in the west coast/Florida, nice place to pick up your CG supplies

Finally had some decent weather, so got to wash the car. Much needed. A rinseless wasn’t going to cut it, so I went up the street to a coin op. Only 7 minutes away, closer than I’d thought- will have to go on a regular basis.

Also, finally broke open my can of soft 99 king of gloss and used it for the first time. Best smelling wax I’ve ever used!

Assembling a PW gun & lances, upgrade. With QCs
What a workout ! Mainly because I didn`t have the best tools only some adjustable wrenches and 1- 50yr old open end.

This giant wrench came in handy on the Mosmatic swivel, for the length for leverage just to get it close to torqed. WHEW!

A swivel at hose to machine end, as well.

Just figured out that n-914 at waterless wash ratio makes a great interior cleaner when it comes to nicotine tar lol. Not just a window cleaner a spot cleaner anymore

Polished hood and rear bumper cover on our Accord after the red nanoskin sponge was FAR too aggressive to remove some contamination doh!

On a side note I liked the Gyeon polish. Probably could have used the Gyeon compound first for a few RIDS that I can see in certain angled lighting, but the Gyeon polish on a green pad on this soft Honda paint worked well as a one step.

One nice thing about them is the size availability you aren’t stuck with 32 oz of polish or compound you will never use up

Weather and roads were clear enough to take the Camaro out for a drive on Saturday, got a little road grime on it. So Sunday it was 45 and raining and I washed it and put it back in storage nice and clean. Also washed the wife`s jeep for the first time in 2 months and Washed it with Super Slick Suds (said with a Sylvester the Cat lisp) then hit it with some Hydrofoam after for protection.

Cold with light snow but managed to get the van cleaned up reasonably. Hit with OCW as I only can remember a few panels of what LSP they are wearing. Didn’t seem like anything was on the drivers side anymore. And of course the front fenders had heavy contamination on them. Will deal with that in spring. Got to be something that can help keep contamination away

I agree that it is a nice polish. Finished out good on my brothers harley which has soft paint using a Rupes yellow pad.

Been off the forum for a while. Lots of things going on.

Got a shop to keep my car and detail out of which has been nice. Have have work every weekend since I got it. Now just have to set it up. Still looking for stuff too much.

Just finished up a 2 step correction today on a 2015 Tundra. LSP was PA MS and topped with Gold Zirkon ( thanks Brandt).
