Finally ready to finish our last car; 22ple HPC removed, ready for new coating

Used Flex 3401 with Scholl S20 on honey spider pad, followed by Scholl S40 on crimson LC Hydrotech. Gotta say, the Scholl is nice stuff, worked better and quicker for me than Menz 2400 & 3800 ever did.

Could never really tell if 3800 was really making a difference or if it was all in my head. The S40, at least on this black, really did a nice job finishing. Took a bit of time/advice to get the Scholl differences to work out but in the end, very nice stuff.

Will continue to use; S20 is gonna be a better one-step than Menz 2400 was for me. Maybe it`s the spider pads, but it really cuts nice and finishes very, very well.

Client of mine had to bring back his Toyota 4runner after the shop that did his engine rebuild left it outside for a week and under a tree it was covered in tree sap and leaves etc so they ran it through an automatic car wash a few times. All my previous polishing work was pretty much negated on it. Decided on HDspeed to try to bring back some of the color and remove some oxidation. Paint is really thin around 2.5mils Or less on most panels.

Nice work RaydiantDetail!
My wife washed her car yesterday (yes!), and then she tells me the wheel well has rust. But, when I look at it, it`s not rust it`s road oil (gasp!). So, I have my work cut out for me tomorrow. Washed my truck today, then had honey-dos...

Polished exhaust tips and done a thorough cleaning of the plastic. Was going to polish off the muffler itself, but it will be going soon anyways...

Natty`s Blue still holding out!

Figured a quick buff, followed by a coating would be in order for the "Merc".

Had the lower cowlings off for maintenance, so hey... why not buff it all?

Heading to the lake for a while next week... can`t have her dirty now, can we.

Also just finished a MAJOR LED project on her. Dedicated switches, dimmers, and 4 channel wireless remotes for interior and exterior LED`s.

This weekend I finished my brother`s Merc after doing a 2-step correction and coating with CSL/EXO. The Escalade I did this spring but he wanted pictures of both which is why they are both there.

Having some trouble keeping
a sealant & wax coat on the hood of my Chevy,
the heat must wear it off fast.
So it gave me a reason to get up at 5:00am
to Uber RW. Then top with

Tried the Twister towels for drying.
Also able to try the freebie Grey Edgeless towels

The Grey Edgeless came into play after
I used this on the hood

BF Mid. Sun topped with WA Vitreo on left side.
P. Signature II topped with Dodo Haze on Right.

Looks like money.

Do you get a lot of contaminants or just loose beading on the hood ?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mainly, when I wash, beading everyplace but the hood.
At first it`s fine but within a month, won`t even sheet water.
Will be doing a full decon, then trying some Dodo Supernatural sealant & wax in a couple weeks.
I`m going to just keep that area layered as much as possible.
