What did you do detailing wise today?

I still can`t determine if any of my wetcoat affected the fuzion spray underneath

so I decided to add a second layer of souveran spray on top of the first one after the wet coat- haha

problem evaded via wasting more wax

works for me :)

Sounds like a gooood idea ! ( I should go pick up that bottle of wetcoat after I chucked it off the balcony ) (kidding)

Busy weekend trying to get some things done on my Camaro. Gave it a wash as well prior to doing either of these things.

3 coats of DP Tire Coating. I typically do 2. Trying out Dan`s (Stokdgs) favorite tire applicator (Tuf Shine) with DP Tire Coating. Seems to have worked well. Results look comparable to the carrand tire brush. Looks like I found another applicator that works just as well. Thanks Dan.

Also coated all the trim with GTechniq C4. A little easier and more forgiving than DLUX.

While I had the week off, my brother and I painted the calipers on my dad`s Impala. Went with the gold G2 caliper kit. Goes well with the champagne silver metallic color. Best brush on kit for those DIYers.

i compared those two apps a while back. i find the tuff shine is great for the smoother sidewals and the carrand for the ones with ridges on them (or like the goodyear ribbed sidewals)

i the carrand takes longer to `break in` the brush

I gave mine another shot and broke it in by rubbing the bristles on my concrete driveway( it`s been pressure washed, so there was no dirt/grit being transferred to the brush) a bunch of times and it made a difference.

it ends up im gonna use bf src compound with orange lc lo pro pads on a torq22d. then im either gonna use wg deep gloss sealant or bf wet diamond sealant, but more than likely bf wet diamond

Two stepped the whole truck and now has two coats of bf wet diamond all finish paint protection and thinking it just might need a third coat of bf wet diamond

Hi did love it I`m going to be doing the rims in winter when rims are switched

On that note they were washed multiple times with bdx and still a bit brown on gloss black all over any suggestions on how to deal with it

Gave this 350Z a thorough Rinseless Wash then Clay Sponge-Eraser-topped with Collinite 845. Paint is in bad shape, swirls everywhere and some etching, he wants me to come back in the near future to give it a polishing job once he takes care of fixing his front bumper and some other small things. While i was there he received his new headlights in the mail,so i went ahead and sold him a quick coating job on those and now they`ll be protected from the get go. The nanoskin and 845 definitely enhanced the gloss, but it needs polishing pretty bad and the paint readings are random since it`s been in the body shop like twice.

Dripping on the rear bumper(left side) is the Bug Squash doing its thing before the wash.

He was very happy with it along with his buddy who was there checking the process out as well.

I also tried WETS on the tires & Mirror vinyl.

All the products I chose carefully, for what they can do :
1. P. SHAMPOO. top of the line, had to find out why. Foamy, slick, cleaned well & smelled like Bananas. Yes I`d buy again.
2. PA. ESCLATE LOTION. Paint cleanser to remove leftover contaminants (Clay mitt 2 weeks ago) This was
a thin liquid, easy to work all day if you wanted, bottle top allows you to butter your pad, smells of Mint. Liked It !
3. P. SIGNATURE SERIES ll. Soft Carnuba with Polymers wax, plus fruit oils. Sounds like a wax/sealant to me.
this you have to put it down thin or else you will be chasing those oils. Depth, luster, ease of use. Scent is plastic fruit. Loved It !
4. WETS. Trim Sealant. Thin chemical, spreads far & easy. I really hope this works, no more dressings if so.
5. Removal Towel. Edgeless, stretches, which traps the product and pulls it off in the very soft material. Worked very well. I`d buy.

Thanks for viewing
